My camera captured them in a shade of slightly garish red. May be looking through a pitch black pair of sunglasses should give you the correct shade.

Then it was time for the Ikon seats to get some new clothes. Chose to stay away from the reds, blues and yellows and opted for a sober shade of Ash.

The work looks good. How much did it cost and how much time did it take? And is it art leather?
The design on the Ikon is good coz of the extra padding near neck area.

@ srijit; he should have got the carpets too! :P

Vivek, get the instrument cluster cover painted red too . It will go well with the seat colour. As JK suggested, when are we going to see some red carpets thrown in too?

Huh !! the jk syndrome . Vivek methinks you should have added a touch of black to the baleno's seat covers. Once again its personal choice.

OT :

jk would you kindly make us a list of things you prefer in red .

Shiny red leather pants, leather jacket, sunglasses, shoes, one red tooth . Thats just to "look" cool. The real deal is red carpets in the truck with rose petals thrown in, red roof lining, one side of the truck painted in red (interior and exterior), blacking out the rear red tail lamps and a big sticker that reads "gimme red". I am sure I am forgetting something. Dyed red hair!

Awesome Vivek! you are like Jereme Clarkson! well most of us are in fact, we want our cars to be as mechanical as possible, as "dumb" as possible, so that we can feel everything the car does and we can do all the thinking and driving!

I think the era of raw hardcore drivers car is gone for ever. Now cars get faster and more powerful but less exciting!

I knew JK would be blamed by everyone for painting my interiors red.

That would really be something. Should go well with the red seats and the soon to arrive red carpets. The delay is because Jk and I are yet to decide between 'scarlet red' and 'JK spec blood red'.

I need to find someway to change my Pioneer HU's blue lighting to red. It stands out like the sore thumb now.

Default I am not Infected With J1K1

Guys It's Not as red as it looks , it's nowhere as red as JK's Safari's Carpets, It's a totally different shade in real. It's half as bright as it looks in the Pic.

The Ikon IMO Looks too sober,Considering what it's generally used for.I wasn't around to (mis)Guide him this time when he went for the job.Vivek Should have gone in for the Red and Black or Yellow and Black Combo fully bling bling. *Running for cover*

More to come watch this space , we are planning more stuff for the babys. This Gentleman has Shelved the plans to buy a Diesel car and has decided to go down with the ship with his 1.6 Twins.

Deep Respect Dude.

This comes from someone whose car is 'sky blue metallic' and has beige interiors. You are the best to suggest yellows, blues, reds and more reds.

Honestly, it is not as red as it looks in the pics. It's the camera playing its trick with the white balance. Look at the surroundings.

OFF TOPIC: I just noticed that the school master at Fiat has made you write imposition with your signature

OMG! The Baleno was sexy to start with! Now with the new alloys, she's one hot gal. And the interiors, cool man! It's hard enough to find one soul mate, you have 2!
