Mag ,the Fully synthetic 75w90 gear box oil costs 2240 per liter according to website ,so you paid close to 5k for 2.2 liter gear box oil ? , just to confirm .

Hey mag, great looking car there.
Could you please break down (approximately) the effect of mods on your swift percentage wise. For example, say, oil switch makes a 10% improvement on a stock swift. That should help guys with limited budget to select what could be appropriate for them.Just a request.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Interesting way of qualifying mods. Here's an attempt, from my PoV, for all the mods done on my Swift:

K&N stock replacement filter: 5%
Oil change from mineral to fully synthetic at 10000 kms: 20% improvement
Well-designed Free-flow exhaust for midrange 2000-5000 rpm: 30% improvement
Porting/polishing/head shaving: 25%
Factory-enlarged Mikuni throttle body: 20%

But do keep in mind that most of these mods are complimentary to each other and work best in tandem for full performance, and not necessarily by themselves.

Is that a % of the total improvement felt on the car?

Thanks

Item 2, and 3 making most sense to me now. Will try them one by one, need to check my pocket.

It could improve your FE if you seldom red-line. The whole idea behind a street spec header is to improve drivability in lower gears(Read even 2nd and 3rd).Imagine crawling thru city traffic in the 2nd gear. IMO it would be best if you could get a replacement air filter with the headers and the synthetic oil.
