Tablet takes care of the following :
FLAC Playback using a Behringer UCA202 DAC and a 128GB Pen drive
Rear Camera monitor
Navigation with GPS

Head Unit does the following:
Volume control for the Tablet functions
BT Phone connectivity
FM radio ( needed for drives with parents)
Speaker network (3 way active soon)
WAV Playback using a 128GB SD Card, whenever I don't feel like hooking up the tablet.

I also changed the rear suspension on my car since it was going weak. Got a set of new struts, springs and rubber pads. Glad to say I did the swap by myself with help from fellow BHPian schakravarthy

Couple of weeks back, the car underwent a full exterior detail for its 6 month anniversary with me! Couple of WIP pictures:

Awesome post.

Edit: Where have you sourced the parts from? Do you have contacts with some importer?

Haha thanks! I couldn't have been happier you chose me to look after the Cedia!

Its a mix of Dubai, USA and local sources. Me and schakravarthy are building a parts cache for our cars :P apart from these, I also have new fuel pump, injectors and tie rods which will be swapped during the next service as preventive maintenance. I'll be getting a full set of engine/gearbox mounts too soon.

The car was near perfect mechanically (thanks to reignofchaos!) only weak link was the rear suspension and that has been fixed. Rest of the mods were all for my individual requirements and tastes.

I have done so many small changes I've forgotten them all oh well remembered a few now :

Two cigar lighter sockets added. One for Dashcam and one for a hidden charger.

It's White, it's Sports and it's a Mitsubishi Cedia - 1.4 lakh km up & new S-drives!-img_20160210_191919001.jpg

The charger is located under the dash and the USB cables are routed through the center tunnel. They exit right next to the seat belt coupling. Complete stealth and no messy wires!

Default It's White, it's Sports and it's a Mitsubishi Cedia - 1.4 lakh km up & new S-...

Dear Cedizens,

Our 2009 Cedia sports has thrown it's very first tantrum in all these years.

The car is refusing to start since yesterday i.e the engine cranks properly but it does not come to life.

There is no check engine light on the console, I tried looking up for any error code with the help of an OBD - II adapter but it yielded no results.

Any pointers on what this could be?

Points to a probable Fuel pump failure. Please get that checked.

I do not own a Cedia so cannot comment on how one can check it himself, but in my car, the moment I turn on the Ignition (before cranking) I hear a mild noise from the Fuel pump, which assures me its working.

Thanks for your input vinit.merchant

Update : Cedia was lying idle since last week as I couldn't find time to get her checked.
This morning a careful look in the bonnet revealed that it was a rat that caused all the damage. It nibbled some wires, the central locking also isn't working.
Called the FNG guy, he started the car within 10minutes and is now working on the car.

I guess I should now go through the rat menace thread on Teambhp and do something for all the cars.

shyam

That could have been a possible cause, infact this happened with one of the keys of our cedia in the initial days which was sorted after some programming.

This time it was definitely the rat as the car was not even locking/unlocking. Anyways the wiring issues have been resolved, car is performing well, no check lights and the central locking is also working now.

How is brembo? Brembo will cost Rs 10000 for disc and pads for front. Mitsubishi ones are very costly

Brembos are good. At par, if not better than OE.
Sunnyboi or Reignofchaos can offer you better insights though. That car has the Brembo units.

18400 for the entire set - front and rear discs + pads. That's what I paid in late 2015. Brembos are better than the stock brakes. Makes no sense getting stock when these cost a quarter and perform better.
