Karthik,
well many complain of Goodyears as noisy tyres and seems FIAT saved on cost in this department. On smooth roads there is no noise but come the hard tarmac and the groan sound continously comes in.
How are you planning to do sound proofing, i didnt understand.
yep you use sound proofing material/sheet like brand dynamat to reduce NVH.
A lof of threads realted to Sound deadening/proofing are there in T-Bhp.just look into it.

The mudflaps and seatcover look great. It is a tightfit seat cover?. Did they remove the seat to put the cover?. Is it a branded one or a custom made one?

Yeah, all seats were removed to fit those seat covers and fitting was done using those so many threads with sharp nail like things. I designed these seat covers seeing one like it in the shop. Asked specifically for these black portions in seating area and its made of leather. Everything else in beige is leatherite. Seat covers came from uttaranchal through courier after placing the order. No BRAND dude, for 7500 i couldnt have asked for more
Mud flaps in black looked odd on my silver colour especially on rear bumpers so got them coloured too.

Congrats on you new car.

Word of caution, please slow down a bit when driving. The road is not a race track. Tacking a sharp turn at 60-80 km/hr is pretty dangerous and so is extremely defensive driving. Allow people to overtake you, your not in a race.
If you want to take risk and hurt yourself it is ok but consider the other people and animals also on the road who you are putting in danger.

Thanks for your advise. Its not about the driver only, its about ones car's ability. 130-140 is not too fast a speed at our 4 lane highways barring the trucks When i drove my Scorpio i made it a point to not go above 100-110 at all costs as it had no ABS and handling is known to everyone.

Regarding turns at 60-80, it was done in himachal hills where there are sharp inclines and you have to carry some motion from behind or else 1st gear will have to come in picture which i didnt want. For hilly driving, we have to do this but carefully indeed.
The handling abilities of Linea are way above and read other threads, people have touched 170 too to check how the car handles at those speeds. Not even once the Linea seems like its slipping out of hands, drive to believe me buddy.

Thanks for your advise though.
