Ok, the speedo and tacho are showing correct figures now within 100rpm.

Jerks issue are 100% due to some crazy stuff of the EGR EVRV or something related. R&D is going on now, but now not at the cost of my time or vehicle

Approaching 5000 km service in a few days. So far only jerks are the issue, rest no rattles wattles etc. TML hasnt responded yet to this.

Drive is good and comfortable as usual.

FE is awesome holding above 11.5 most of the fills and time. Though the engine seems to be noisier than before but I guess it will settle down after 10K mark.

The inner treads of the Front tyres are going to I need to have a good alignment done in Pune. Any suggestions ?

Next on the list are the following

a. Good tints
b. Music system
c. if Vitamin M permits a good set of shoes for the beast.
d. Immobilizer from Autocop. (Free gift from TATA )

Rahul, you need to get camber done. it takes 1 hour for the job, and very few alignment shops do it.;

+++1 to that Tanveer.

For my sake, the so called ALIGNMENT and CAMBER job was done at their famed ERC. Thank You but no thanks. What went on for 10days is truly lost in translation.

Lightbulb Story of Retrofit

Boy, Am I surprised.. My vehicle is in the selection list to recieve retrofits.

I was just informed by the dealer to get the vehicle across to them sometime next week. I would try to coincide that with my 2nd Servicing

Vehicle went in for retrofiting last week and was apparently in Category A.
In my vehicle apart from something put in the front 2 doors and change of the timing belt cover, nothing else was done.

I would be going in for 2nd free servicing at around 5500kms.

Updates on jerks: I had a second opinion from a reputed TASS in Pune, who said that the jerks should not be there, in a new vehicle. They said that when I come to them with a appointment, they would diagnose it properly. I am speechless... TML~TASS~ERC :( the ball rolls on....

Nothing to lose. I prefer getting it done at T.A.S.S. Dont have to wait, and can always go back for re-set / re-alignment.

Default Update to jerks

The rear differential has been found to be in order along with other mechanicals.
So now would move upstream towards powertrain and then the FAMOUS TATA sensors.

My Expert Friend was so helpful that, he knows and shared whats wrong, but would reserve that info for a few days until the parts are checked and problem confirmed
