Covered around 6000 kms so far. Very comfortable driving car for higways . I drove around 900 kms on a day , around 3 weeks back , went to chennai and came back home. Touched around 190kmph and didnt feel i was going in that speed. I am enjoying it .NO ICE mate. I am not an ICE lover nowadays.. My dad takes up old songs (1975 -1985) in his thumbdrive and enjoys it . So NO point in getting a high quality speakers or ICE or woofers.

Thanks mate. I am thinking of RD kit now as it can be used in any diesel car. But seems the below post might change my mind if i get a good offer

I have replied to your PM,undead. If you can find a good double din it will be a good option as it really changes the sound quality even with the stock speakers.

Well, Asking me whether i put those stickers for fun or styling. NOPE.Here is what happened.
Few weeks back , during the night , a cat went under my car. We used to leave our watch dog free inside the compound , he wanted to get the cat ( he killed two cats so far) and started scratching my car on the passenger side (on the Jaguar Sticker area) . The paint came off due to his hard nails . There are some tiny scratches on the bonnet too . I had to repaint it,but may cost around Rs.5000 . Just bought stickers for Rs.500 and covered it for now

Hi Gurus,

I just found below Elantra for my brother in law.

Hyundai Elantra CRDI 2004 Oct
White color
Single owner used
98000 kms
Excellent condition/Dealer service records
Owner/Driver : Personally known to me
Fancy number/air bags etc
Price: 325K approx.

Since it has done about 100K kms, I'm little confused.
Please share your valuable comments..

Thanks,

Whoa! A petes box on an Elantra = Stonking performance. Realistic 0 - 100 of 9 seconds?

You got it right @GTO . Even though my Stock Getz almost matches the Pete'd Elantra , its the good stability , braking and TCS that gives us the confidence to push it to the limit. . Need to check the 0-100 timing soon .

Undead,

Is that a good place to fit the box? Won't it overheat? What is that pipe?

Because of the stability and a bit more linear power delivery Elantra(stock) feels slower than Verna/Getz. If you compare the figures Elantra's performance is at par compared Verna crdi/Getz crdi. So a peted Elantra is expected to be faster. Ive personally confirmed it- Elantra vs Verna.
