But about the rear fog's, I did not notice it! :(

@Technocrat: Thanks! The color was a good choice; thank God we ended up with this color after all the circus we did. 4x4ing is yet to start. As of now running / bedding in the engine.
Didnt know that

GX comes with CD/MP3 HU. 9870E or so.

The temp sensor is fitted on the LHD behind the front bumper.

@JKDas,

The stock unit is not all that great! It is a MP3 player, but I cant skip or search folders or anything. I just need to move one track to the next! (Not sure on the number, will check and tell later).

And thanks for letting me know where the temp sensors are.

Happywheels, to skip folders, use the 1 and 2 buttons on the bottom row.

there is a folder/file search feature, but given the size of the display, is practically useless

Activate it by pressing the magnifying glass button
PM me if you need help tweaking it. I think its the same as mine

dear happy wheels
self been a keen offroader for the last 15 plus years and here are some tips before you go off road.
1) know your vehicle in and out
2) never go alone, keep your convoy to a minimum 3 vehicles
3) carry enough water and some extra.
4) tell someone where you are going and when you are expected to be back.
5) tool kit, first aid kit, local map, fire extinguishers, emergency contact numbers are a must. GPS, mobile phones are few items you cannot avoid.
6) never push your car to the limit until and unless its absolutely necessary.
7) on soft sand deflate your tire to get more grip and reduce the chance of sinking
8) essentials like ropes, planks, shovel, matches, flash light, dry cloths should never be forgotten
9) ground clearance of your car should always be in your mind.
10) extra fuel and jumper cable in case of driving thru water

hope it helps

Default Better late than never

Congratulations HappyWheels!!

You are in the discovery phase of your vehicle which is inarguably one of the sweetest experiences with a new vehicle and even more if it is an upgrade.

Enjoy it!!

Dear GKS,

Highly appreciate the pointers. Thank you!

Lot of things to learn about this vehicle and these pointers are definitely worth a lot.

Thanks LSP! Yup, the discovery phase!

EDIT:
Can someone confirm this: I always believed that the express-down of the window was only for the drivers side (which is what I have noticed in one of my previous cars). But in this guy, I can express-down (from the drivers console) any of the windows. Was this a standard feature available from day 1?

Yup, from the first lot of VTT 2.2s itself.

Did you check the oil level in the meantime like?

Thanks for the info, ADC.

Yup, had checked the oil level while the PDI. Will check it once again today.

And the temperature needle is still standing slightly above the half mark, always. Since it is a fixed spot from day one, not overly concerned, but will highlight it to the service team during first service.

@BlackBeast: There is a marked difference at where the light gets thrown when you move the level. I checked this with the light falling on the wall.

Can you please check this by pointing the lights onto a wall and changing the leveler. If no change, then something is wrong with the motor.
