Ravi Sir, Bon Voyage. Hope your journey towards east and north-east is as fruitful & enthralling (if not more) as your Leh Expedition. Your Itinerary please. Which are the places that you are planning to visit & how long this trip going to be.

Wishing you & your Linea all the very best

May your car be the first Linea in the country to touch all 4 corners of the country.

Wish you a happy and safe trip...looking forward to your updates.

Edit: I'm surprised to see that you've run only 8kms in the last 1 month (15th march to 11th april) !!!
The bullet classic must be responsible for this I guess

Thanks, AutoIndian. These are all mere updates. I have scheduled to start my travelogue on the same day I return to HQ. I plan to visit Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Guwahati, Kaziranga National Park, Shillong, and the last but not the least, Bhutan! All these places are to be covered in 22 days.

You have hit the bull's eye, hemanth.anand. Even those 8 km coverage was due to my occasional drive to keep my Linea's battery fully charged. Do you know another fact: my Linea was spotted so far in Pune, Chandigarh, and even in Khardung La. But not in Bangalore. :(

Great plan, 22 days & how many kms? Wish you can execute your plan to perfection & shower us with your (as usual) riveting travelogue & equally enthralling pictures.

Default Trip To East & North-East - Update

My Linea brought us safely to Hotel Trimoorti, Roy Street, Kolkata, at 6:30 am today. We left Visakhapatnam yesterday at 2:51 pm accompanied by hailstorm for about half hour. Here are the vital statistics recorded by my MapMyIndia Lx130 navigator:

Happy and safe journey! I am glad that the Linea is about to conquer the East too. Do you plan to visit Gangtok? IMO its a beautiful place. Please be cautious about the roads here in east.

All the best Ravi Sir. Your "leh in linea" was the inspiration for me to plan ladakh this June and now you have started "bhutan in linea" .

I have a question. Do we need international licence to drive in nepal and bhutan?

Harsha, to my knowledge, there is no such international license. The IDP as such is been mistook by many. IDP is the international format of your Indian License. Some countries allow the foreign license to be used for certain period of time before getting the actual driving license for that country. To put it short, as long as your Indian License is in English, it is the same as carrying an IDP.

For Bhutan, since they are allowing Indian Registered vehicles, I believe Indian License should also be valid there.

Nice drive from Bangalore to Vishakapatnam.

Which route did you take ? Need these details. Awaiting your reply.

What speeds were you maintaining ? 14.9 Kmpl is pretty decent I guess.
