Loved the LED DRL. It makes your car look a notch above the grade. Where did you get them from?

Great looking CIVIC.
Thanks! I got it from Delhi. Headlamps cost 16K (for the housing). Xenon + Ballast cost 5500 for a pair. LED Tail lights is about 11K.

I have two LED DRLs - the audi style (long strip in the headlamp housing itself), and the standard one under the lower front skirt. I got them from an accessories shop in south delhi, moolchand.

I have posted this in the alloys section but it seems no one is noticing it. I will post it on my own ownership report. I currently have these alloys (in silver) on my civic.

And I want to have these shades of these original Audi alloys.

1. Is such repaint possible at very good precision? Because, I see that to achieve the above multi-shades, a lot of maskings is required and needs lot of attention to small details.
2. Whom should I approach - Pandit & Co. or AutoPsyche? Would they be able to do multi-shade repaint? (I know both can paint)
3. If it all possible, how long are the repaint gonna last?
4. And most importantly, how much approx. it is going to cost me?
5. What do you advise - go for the multi-shades repaint, or just do a single gun-metal or carbon black?

The dual tone is more labour intensive but definetly doable. Make sure they use the correct type of primer and paint.

Why dont you think of applying vinyl instead of going for paint? I suppose the vinyl with the carbon fibre texture would look killer on these alloys.

Hello,
I must say this is one of the best Honda Civics i have ever seen, well balanced shades as the car manages to retain the subtle looks while not giving up on its street orientation
Just couple of questions,
1. have you done any performance upgrades (Sorry if i missed this in your thread) because i went through your garage and did not find any mention there
2. How about a nice pair of white underbody neons, it will complete the look and i have seen philips has some good 6000k parking bulbs as well, i asked the price here and they quoted 1700 INR

Enjoy the ride, i am a big fan of Civic, looking for a used V-AT myself

Cheers,

Great! Stunning alloys those..

So, are you still at Bangalore or relocated back to Delhi? If still at Bangalore, don't the traffic police walas ask you if you have paid the KA tax? It's their favorite work and they love so called 'North India' junta since we don't understand a word they say.

I managed to evade them for several years before I relocated back to Del but most other folks haven't been so lucky

Just a brief report - my civvy has done 34K kms in 3 and 1/2 years. Got a general checkup done at Ace Honda, in preparation for its first track day at Buddh Circuit on 10th March (Sunday). I am very excited

Here is the latest picture...Notice the difference from past pics!

while performing general check in the Honda station, the supervisor was all praised for the car and how I had kept it extremely well maintained. He said, he had seen many civics in his station for servicing - few months old, a year or two old, 3-4 yrs old. And most of them were abused, dented everywhere, dirty and rusty. He was surprised that my civvy still looks very immaculate as if it was just 3-4 months old. And he particularly liked the mods I had done. I was, well, remembering what all special treatments did I bestow on the car all these years.. (he gave the car a complimentary car wash, wax polish..only came to know when delivery in the evening)

I went with a single tone. The result is the picture above. I like it!

Thanks! yeah, subtle is the word
1. No performance mod (engine/suspension) so far, totally stock. Not even K&N filter. But that may change after the 4th year warrant expires (but i did upgrade to 225/45/17 alloys/tires, if you call it performance)

2. subtle is the word.. so no underbody neons for me, looks chessy to me

Good luck with your search for a AT civvy!

Thanks! It's been almost a year back in Delhi. I didn't get caught or was stopped for road tax when I was in Bangalore. I was lucky I guess! But I got back after 11 months. so, not much risk

Lastly, here is a close-up on the repainted alloys (dark grey)

Thanks. Ride is harsh on 17", no doubt! My heart always goes out when taking it on bad roads. I would suggest stick to 16" for practical reasons unless you are into aesthetic and want the looks badly.

Mugen kit was about 15K. I got it from AutoMarc, Delhi some 3 years back. It is still hanging on to my civic without any damage (even tackled the bangalore notoriously high speed breakers without breaking it
