Every time I see a Punto, I am stopped dead in my tracks and just drool over it. It's heart achingly beautiful. Great purchase!

@NutsNBolts,@Games Goblin,@arishi1,@Utopian,@crn12,@Pyrotek,@arun1100 ,@sachinj12,@lloydofcochin
..Phew thanks a lot for the wishes.hoping to keep the car for a long time.the indica still runs well after 7 yrs so hope this one stays together too.
@gemithomas -enjoyed reading your ownership thread.remember the winding thread you had put up before buying your car!As for the long term review,a snail would cover more miles in a year.no much running now other than monthly trips home.
Have some questions later, glad if existing punters can help. more pics to follow.

Adding a few things i missed out-
Headlights are average in low beam
fogs are pretty bright.high beam good.
AC performance on par with class.vents though have poor functionality while compared to rotary ones on fiesta.
Running in speed limited to 80 kph with occasional run ups to 100kph.
Mileage is 18kpl in highways, overall 15kmpl-calculated by tankful method.
the fuel consumption meter on board is pretty accurate.
Gear shift a disappointment after the sweet one of fiesta.reminds me of indica with effort required especially when shifting to 3rd or 5th.
slowly getting used to long clutch travel.
Above factors make the car more suited to relaxed highway cruising.
sometimes felt need for a 6th gear as you go on to triple digit speeds.
overall think that i will become a more sobre driver(had trouble keeping speeds down with fiesta on empty roads!).

Aditya, congratulations and thanks for sharing the first impressions. It is a very objective review, liked reading it.

About the gearbox, I felt that the gearbox becomes smoother after a while. Keep us updated if you feel the same later on.

Congratulations Aditya.
I too own a Punto.

Are you using any polish on interior plastics?
I too have noticed that plastic is loosing bit of its sheen.
