I think someone in Punto Users India group on Google has got central locking done from FIAT dealership in Bangalore, do check with them, might be able to give you some insights on what specific you need to TASC to order for.

after market central locking with remote is available for active model , by a company named cross links wheels , it costed me 4500/- .
Was installed by the authorized dealer here in Bangalore and according to give , it is approved by FIAT. I have been using it for more than 6 months and its working well. The think the company HQ is in Delhi , may be you contact them directly , if dealer is not able to get it for you.

The car is shaping up nicely now.city rides are not difficult as i first thought.4th gear picks up down from 30.Dealer has OE punto art leather seats @5500,autoform from outside @4000.How does autoform compare with OEMones?
Also i find wheelcaps not entirely flush fitting.are they screwed down with wheelbolts? or just snap ons which may pop away on bad roads?

Hi,fitted art leather beige seats from autoform @ 4k shall post pics soon.Cabin now has brightened up.on the downside a few small rattles pop up occasionally.Bridgestones have a tendency to pick up a lot of gravel on kutcha roads.
saw an ad featuring 50,000 discount on punto.attempt to revive flagging sales?
Does punto come with hydraulic engine mounts?because engine shudder on switching off is noticeable.

Beautiful pics there. The white color punto is very understated when compared to red. Looks very elegant and worth more bucks

Keep it going with the Punto

@aditya

Killer white alloys with Red lip would make this beatuy a steal. Run in search of them ASAP. Till then your ride is understated.

Drive safe. Cheers.

THanks guys,@ praveen i am too lazy to go 98 pcd alloy hunting!frankly i dont want to do any thing that will foul with the warranty.Cant tell being a fiat when will i have to claim it!Besides the car is beautiful in stock condition itself.

okay crossed 1000k now and time for some FE figures. The trip calculator is awesomely accurate, spot on with tank full to tankfull calculations.
in city-13 to 14 kpl
on busy intercity routes 16- 18 kpl
relaxed highway rides with medium traffic(speeds around 80 kmph- 18 to 21 kmpl
enthusiastic highway driving(speeds at all times above 90 kph, down shifting for corners, upshifts at 3000rpm)-16 to 17 kpl
All figures with ac on.
Instantaneous consumption meter makes you to eke out every bit of mileage.Instantaneous consumption at constant 100 kph was 18 kpl.

having crossed 1000k took the liberty of some enthusiastic driving. This machine beats my petrol fiesta in every aspect of ride and handling.
Looking forward to posting a detailed comparo between these two drivers cars some time soon!
