Hemanth
Just an observation that pics of odo at night indicate the car temperature on the hotter side
Whereas the normal car temp is the one where odo pic is clicked in daylight ... Think 35000 clocked pic

My car driven 62k so far and driven with a heavy foot most if the times but never goes more than the normal temp
Pls check what is wrong here

Will check the coolant levels in the evening.
There was a water pump chnage in the last service and coolant change.
If there is some problem it must be there IMO.
You have got a good pair of eyes I must say

The temperature gauge needle sometimes goes slightly above the centre line depending on weather conditions too, but if it is fluctuating it could be some trivial issue. Since hemanth mentions that the water pump and coolant were replaced during the service, it is possible that some small amount of air might have got into the system and could be causing this slight fluctuation in the temperature sensor readings. Removing the air gap should solve this fluctuation.

As an update to my earlier post, I checked the coolant level. It is normal.

Also after the previous post of mine (6th feb) the car has been driven for around 200 kms. I've kept a close watch on that needle, and never has it crossed that line.

I'll be keeping a watch on it and act accordingly.

This Place was awesome and thanks for dragging us along with you, want to visit this place when the H2O is full and spend more time with friends like you. Saw some pics taken when the Church was hald dipped in water. I would have missed this beauty spot if i had not joined you.

More over the road is too good and is a treat for the Driver.(watchout for some unfinished road in between). Lets plan to visit more destinations like this in and around Bangalore.

Last thursday when there was a nationwide bandh, I had to visit a relative's house in HSR layout.
So there was no better place than the 3M store for a makeover to my car.

Thanks to bhpian karthikk, I got this idea of covering the exposed plastic parts with CF.

Below is the difference with CF and without CF.

For installation details Karthik's thread is the best place

As a value addition, I got this done as well...

Yesterday afternoon when I was checking the air pressure in my car's tyres, I found that the two rear valve caps are missing.
What I don't understand is why would anybody take only 2 of the 4 caps?
Possibility is somebody might be taking one at a time

Mr.Hemanth, Sad to know this. There are many possible reasons, many a times the gas station ppl who put air are least bothered to put back the cap after their job. you will need to get down from the car and remind him to put the cap back for all the wheels. I have lost 2 sets like this, though it was a normal one.

Sorry to hear that, hemanth.anand. My Linea's FIAT-branded tyre valve caps are intact still. Perhaps, Abarth brand is more sought after than FIAT!

So now, you too have been bitten by the 3M attraction bug! Beware, it affects all enthusiasts passing by HSR layout.

They look superb now, plus the CF on fade-able plastic removes any black plastic maintenance headache forever.

Thanks for the kind words hemanth . I think you were in 3M in the late morning hours that day, because Sidhu was asking me if I had a holiday and could join for a quick meetup. Unfortunately for my office, we were working on Thursday and I was 30km away from you guys. Probably some other time.

CF remote?? Impressive stuff! Looks like the CF bug has bitten you more than it bit me - you are starting to think of innovative places now. In fact, I'm getting this done the next time I go there *lol*.

Your temperature gauge is at the same level I guess, 0.1mm above the halfway mark. Looks like the needle fluctuation problem is gone?

P.S - where did you get that Abarth keychain from?? some pointers please??

I'm sure thats not the case because i fill nitrogen and after i purchased the valve caps, i've not filled even once.
High probability is its the work of someone in my apartment or office

With "better'' brand value comes greater risk

And there is no cure invented for it as yet

Thanks for showing me the medicine for that headache

I was just beside him when he called you.
Anyways there's always a next time

Thanks. Sidhu rightly told me that you'll ask for it
The innovative thinking came while waiting watching the guy work. He finally gave the finishing touches

Yes there's no fluctuation. Part of the reason i felt is the parallax while taking the photo.
The parallax is shockingly more than i expected.

Got it from the abarth store website

Oh man.
I think it could be some bike guy, for whom 2 should be good enough for his bike.
You can try out those locked ones similar to the one that i got .

3M CF is spreading like a bug within all bhpians , but i guess a lot of credit goes to Sidhu Sir and his boys.

Cheers

Sure it does...Apart from the top quality workmanship, I liked the friendly staff and the way they handle the "experimenting kind" of customers

Note my new TBHP avatar

Yesterday, when I had no other good thing to do, I was checking if my new phone was really "incredibly creative" as they call it.

Name: Sketch.png
Views: 1380
Size: 347.4 KB

I neither sat in front of the car nor saw any picture of the car while doing this. So some things may be out of proportion.
And yes, I didn't use any app either

PS: Artists on the forum, please don't laugh at this...I'm only this good at sketching

Are you kidding me Bro, you really think you are not good enough ??

Believe me, I in fact though that someone had actually sketched your car while scrolling down before I noticed your posting.

I don't know about "Incredible" but you sure are waaay too "Creative" !!
