Now its time for the second choice....
I have the eclipse, but have a family now and i need a more practical car.
The debate is betwen the civic 1.8 and Accord 2.4.
which one this time do you think?

Accord 2.4 I would think, much more space & much more luxurious. What model years are you considering anyway? The latest or previous ones?

If it's MY08 it's got to be the Accord, you can't beat the overall package if you're looking at it from a family usage point of view.

had a test drive on both cars:
Honda CIVIC which i thought i would settle down really disappointed me by a huge margin.Okay the car looks pretty decent has that digital speedo and has a very appealing looks.BUT, the 1.8 i vtec really failed to excite me.I really thought it would be more powerful but it had too much engine noise, poor acceleration etc etc.
The new Accord, though I am not a great fan of how it looks, really bowled me over.Its a bit large for my requirement but thats not a problem.The interiors are very classy, and even the basic trim has almost all the necessary gadgets i require.The 2.4L engine, is pretty smooth and refined and NVH are quite low compared to the CIVIC.Power output is also in a different league compared to the other.
I never thought i would end up buying the new ACCORD but after driving the same it looks as if i might end up doing just that.
I have to admit, this is by far the best interior i have come across in a jap car....

Finally after 3 weeks, when i have packed my bags for my vacation to india, I get the call from Honda to come and collect the 2008 MY black accord.
I thought to my self what better gift than this for the birthday.
YES, I have taken delivery of my spanking new Accord. will post the pics when i am back in india.
