Skoda RS or Merc Kompressor (C class)?? - Team-BHP

hey Guys,
This one should be intersting if not done already that is. Both are ~150bhp one is super chargerd other is a turbo. Both promise tarmac burning performance however take into account factors like ride/handling,ownership cost over 5 yrs ,comfort, build quality ,efficiency, etc...
what will you choose n why?

a merc is a merc and carries that 3 pointer star and they both fall in an different class . the merc is almost double the price of the rs and i would rather go in for the rs as i cannot affordd the c class at the moment !

If Money wasn't a problem, i'd go for the merc.. But since thats not the case, I'd go for the RS.. lol

the rs i have a kompressor 2004 dne abt 11000 kms but drove the rs man its blows the white elephant outta the window

skoda for me.
its just too cool, merc is good but i prefer the faster c220CDI .
i am not much of a petrol merc man

is the diesel c class faster than the supercharged petrol one ????

i'd dig the turbo RS neday !!! altough the CDI merc wud be more of a challenge ..
am a kinda guy who likes to see a civic blow a ferrari .. so skoda all the way ..

Money problem or no money problem ,its the RS for me.the first thing that i wud do if i wrer to get the RS is get a chip upgrade and a K&n intake .

If i want to burn the tarmac i would perfer the RS anyday over the merc. For me the C class Merc is more of an executive saloon.

The RS it is.Anyday.Merc is more of class n less of performance.And IMO i prefer the RS to the Merc in any league.(looks,performance etc).

RS...buy the stock version....as satya mentioned - chip upgrade, k&n filter...and money for petrol to drive down from india to the autobahn and back! cheaper spares...et al that....

3 pointer v/s performance. if it was my money i'd get the RS. if i was not going to foot the bills (incl maintainance) i'd love to have a 3 pointed star in my garage. besides in mumbai traffic the RS (even detuned to 150bhp) performance is not utillised.
