Congrats. Did'nt merc offer the E220 CDI common rail engine with this bodystyle. I know it was available overseas.

Mpower- In India this car was offered only in 2 variants - E250[5cyl] and E230[4cyl].
The CDI's came in the updated version along with the E240[6cyl].

Hey guys.
Planning to click some more pictures and post them too, As soon as I have some time. This baby has cost me around 8L and its a real pleasure to drive around in.
Just planning some upgrades like:
1) Changing the audio system putting in a DVD system with a reverse cam.
2) Getting the entire interior done up.
3) Upgrading the wheels and tyres from 15" to 16",Not sure if 17" would be a good idea to upgrade to.
Just thinking about these at the moment, any more suggestions are welcome.

Your car looks fantastic, must be great pleasure driving an automatic. This is a petrol right? from the photo's the car seems to be in very good shape, please let us know more about the driving impressions and the overall feel. Enjoy you ride.

Very nice car there although for pure asthetic and mechanical reasons I prefer the W124. One request though please remove those chrome thingies from the headlamps and the interiors, not too orignal IMHO.
