Costing for Mods - Team-BHP

TBHPians just wanted all your experience on the costs involved for your mods
I have a list of mods that I am planning and would like to have an approximate costing...

1) Headers
2) Porting and Polishing of the Head
3) ECU remap else ECU swap

Depends on the car u choose .. This is for the VTEC isnt it ?? Then it should be around ..

1. headers : 5-8k ..
2. Porting, polishing etc - 8k approx ..
3. ECU remap - Well dont know how many actually do that, i think psycho does or u an look at piggy back ECU's , it should cost u nothing less than 20k i think .. Rates are an approximate indicator .. They are subject to changes based on who is the tuner u are approaching ..

I'd like to see someone give me a port/polish job for 8k.

Adit, please PM someone like Psycho or Domnic, since they would have a better idea.

Hey Adit,
First of all you need to specify the car.

1>What about the rest of the exhuast. You want prices for full system or headers only. Full system in Mild Steel costs 12k in Mumbai
2> Depends on the tuner and type of job and most imp which car.(between 10-25k+spares+labour)
3> ECU Remap no idea but I know someone who paid 12k in Mumbai. ECU swap 25-30k upwards(Haltech, Greddy Emanage etc).Prices are for official imports.

The best would be to contact someone from your city like Psycho, Dominic or Raj.
