doing up my esteem - Team-BHP

hey guys i have a beat up blue esteem and i wanted to do it up for myself i currently have a karizma and am also a poart of xbhp i the wheelie guy

anyway i waz wondering where i could get a normal metallic paint job from i have been told 15k for a complete scrape down from one garage and i wanted to knw if i could get it done cheaper coz im payin for evrything myself so if any one has any contacts....also i would be fitting 15" mags n new tubeless tyres o my ride any one wid good contacts for that one??????? And all the performance upgrades and skirtings etc etc. would be after my job with jet airways starts!!!! thanks for ur replies in advance guys .....oh btw this is my first post i hope its my best hehehe nyway pleeeeeeeez help me out here!!!! thanks again!

15K is a decent price.
If u bargain more or find a cheaper guy, u'll end up with a bad finish.

If he's got good reputation and u've seen the painter's jobs, go ahead.

frankly 15K is not bad,
i had my jeep painted for 7K 4 years back...
so 15K foe Esteem is not bad at all...

Hi Joshzz,
15k all inclusive is a very good deal. Just hope he does a good job. BTW are you supplying the material(paint, primer etc) if so then it is too high a cost. I would not recommend 15" on a esteem. I can help you out with the performance upgrades and any mechanical jobs. Give me a buzz or pm me whenever you want to execute them.

... whats wrong with 15 inch rims on an esteem.. I am running 195/50 15" on my esteem.. yes i agree it has drawbacks like drop in mileage and pickup but hey it looks good..

Oh yeah, i had to pay 4000 extra for getting my paint-jobs retouched after the mechanical jobs left a lot of welds, scratches,etc..

hey guys where in mumbai will i get a good free flow job done in the car??? Rio is charging me %k but i dont know if the job includes the muffler as well....anybody???

Headers and free-flow must cost u something around 9k for an esteem,man.

im sorry i mistyped over there i meant to say RIO waz chrging me 5k for the whole job but im not very sure if he was tellin me the price with the muffler as well.

Hi,

Can you specify what he is providing for 5k. IMO it is not possible to get a complete free flow(headers+expansion box+rear muffler+installation) for so less.

RIO, 5k .. impossible.. must b just the muffler.. hehe .. hes really expensive .. i suggest u get the freeflow done frm VIPER, his ride sounds sweeeet!!
