Default Momo Steering wheel for the Nano??

I am thinking of buying a Nano for my personal city use. I have a MOMO wooden steering whell currently fitted to my 2005 Alto. I want to know if I can take it off the Alto & fit it in the Nano? To do this, I need to get the centre hub to match the Nano rod & splines? Can anyone please advise?

You need a steering wheel adapter hub with splines that match with nano's steering rod. Finding a hub with matching spline could be tough task.
Else you can buy another steering wheel and use its base to build a hub adapter. Also note that indicator autocancel will not work unless you find/build a matching hub.

Thanks Sankar. The original hub & steering wheel of the Nano is an integrated single moulded piece. I need to separate this hub from the wheel. How can this be done? The surface of the hub cut off from the wheel has to be smooth.Only then the MOMO can be screwed flush on the hub. Please advice.

OE steering is almost always a single integrated unit. What I meant was to buy another one and cut it up to create the base for a hub. I know a friend who did such a thing for his m800 in spite of being the hub readily available for it.

Thanks for your inputs.Being a Vintage & classic car rstorer,I am aware that steering wheel is an integrated unit.My apprehension was if one could slice it in such a way the surface is even. I am yet to decide on the Nano. Will decide soon.

Separate the metal base from the plastic, should be easy after that.
