hi tsk, from the garware website , the high performance range in charcoal colour has only 37% heat rejection. i want maximum heat rejection possible as i now have leather seats in my car.

i cannot opt for 25% visibility as cops here are very strict about 50% visibility, so max i can opt for 40% visibility.

comparitively, the 3M RE series films have 43% heat rejection. but i am unsure of its colour.

also, does charcoal mean black? if yes, then how does ash & grey look?

I don't understand why so many BHPians are obsessed with dark tints. What we should be concerned is the heat rejection. Dark tints are used by anti-social elements and this attracts the attention of the cops.

Raj, I would suggest you do a field trip as the website is outdated. Ask for Classic and its specs, and do ask for Garware NF (Non Fading), a version above Classic.

3M is a good option but Garware scores on VFM aspect. Charcoal is Dark Grey-Black. Ash has a dark brown shade. Go to dealer and ask him to show the Shade card.

Check the Car Pack range from Garware here [not updated as Alps (for front and rear, Single piece) and Articool (78% Heat Rejection) have been launched], http://www.garwaresuncontrol.com/pro.../car_packs.pdf

thanks for the link buddy. i will do a field work as you said. my only priorities are maximum heat rejection & black colour tint. thats the reason i thought 3M is a better choice but as you said, garware is more VFM, i agree.

You're welcome Sir. I forgot to mention that the High Performance Series you checked is different from Car Packs that's why Classic has Heat Rejection upto 40% or 45% depending on shade. I clearly remember that there is one Charcoal shade in Classic series which will suit your requirements. Also check Garware NF (do check the specs, I ain't aware of them) as the name is attractive, 'NF=Non Fading' although I believe that the new age films don't suffer from Fading problems any longer.

All the best!

Is there any feedback regarding ecodrive sunfilms. They seem affordable and my tata-fiat dealer is suggesting it. I wanted to know if its a good product? Also is there any good professional for sun film installation in navi mumbai?

My Indica with light Grey, Dzire & Scorpio with light Green.I hate dark tints.Vehicle with dark tints are a public nuisance.Passengers should be visible clearly from outside for the police and the road ahead should be visible throught the rear glass of the vehicle moving in front.A number of accidents during overtaking can be avoided if an opposite coming vehicle is visible through the rear glass of a vehicle ahead.Dear team BHPians , please avoid using dark tints.

I like the Natural Ash colour in Garware Classic range since day it was launched.
It goes well with almost any car colour.
I got it installed in all the cars we owned starting from 118NE, Esteem, Santro Xing, Fusion, Fusion+.
T-Jet+ is the first car to get the 3M film.
