Whats with the flower job on the chrome grill & ORVMs? I would have liked this if the bicycle had it's front tyres. This mod looks to me like a confused job, started well & lost direction half way! To me, the car belong to some other thread, Sorry!

Those graphics are pretty popular in Japan where those are manga themed. I would say the S10 has not turned out that well, maybe that's because the other S10's look pretty amazing.

The swift looks very ordinary. I wouldn't pay for those mods.

Punto is OK,but nothing great.

In the developed world, thats how Bicycles are carried rooftop. Wheel ir removed and the fork is then latched onto the overhead bicycle carrier.

This Palio is cool. European Cool.

That my friend looks good. I guess the other car will look good with bigger wheels. Maybe gold/bronze ones.

Is lowering becoming a basic mod?. I see most cars on this thread from KL are lowered.

Most of the cars rated as good looking have been lowered and sport 17 inch alloys with ultra low profile tires. Its a new trend in Kl that is being witnessed and blindly adapted by many.

But doesn't the combined effect of both hurt? Or these are track cars.

Look closely please, that is not a flower job but a JDM Vinyl.JDM vinyl's and CF vinyls is a newly gotten trend which people have started using to get away from the old matt black vinyl everyone use to put earlier.

My limited taste, tells me its a really hot looking S10 speacially the BBS RS replicas.
Would love to see more pictures of it.

As said in the first post, my dislike could be because the other Palios on this thread have already set the standards high. I for one, like the understated elegance (with some HOT rims) of Palios than such L-O-U-D mods.

(I still feel, a factory spec shining silver Palio looks the hottest!! - never been a fan of silver, but for Palio)

Love those blue wheels. Who deals with alloy wheel painting in Cochin - would you have any idea?

Lowering will definitely bring more hurt to the driver. The different practices adopted are
1. Spring Compressing (cheapest option)
2. Lowering Springs
3. Adjustable suspensions.

Since adjustable suspensions are not available for the palio the majority of cars have compressed springs to sport the lowered stance. These cars are not track machines and are cars that are being used as daily rides through the pot holes of our own roads.

Well taste differs. Since the trend to have a loud second car for weekend drives has increased the S10s have now been a popular hunt for the new kids. The sole reason being the peppy 1.6 motor, short ratio gearing, FFE adds a real loud note, signature of the legend are the main reasons for the Yellow Fever to catch up.

Alloy wheels can be painted at any good booth. The only thing is that the tires have to be removed and then given to the paint booth. The same basics apply and a lot depends on the quality of paint. If you have a trusted booth then its just the basics.
A majority of cars were painted at Marvel and its next to synthite ground, panagad, Cochin.
