Audio setup for NHC.. - Team-BHP

It's a NHC(mid 2005 make)...I have Alpine TDM9505(Cassette player) head unit with the Alpine cha-s634 6 mp3/cd changer...

I want to know if I can use a pioneer EQ6500 graphic equalizer between the head unit/ cd changer and the speakers(NHC GXI stock fit) without an amplifier. I do not want to use the Amp as I' am more comfortable with the level of sound with out the amp...Once again Please let me know if I can use the pioneer equalizer with out the Amp in picture...(the equalizer and the amp are from the set up from my previous car)...
