Headlamp stickers - Team-BHP

just wanted to confirm If a half black sticker on headlight is mandatory? alomost all newly delivered cars here (chd) have those stickers on them. even my matiz has them but I don't like them, I want them to be removed. Is it a traffic rule violation?

at some places the cops are strict about the black stickers on the headlights, in bangalore sometime back i remember cops catching cars and fining them for not having the black sticker on the headlight..... but now days i guess no one is bothered..... i dont have the sticker on the headlights of my santro and have never been asked for that by the cops ( not yet atleast ).... Well dont know how strict cops are there in CHD...

It was a requirement when the beam adjuster was not present... I guess now they are not catching is because on all new cars they have made the headlamp level adjuster compulsory so that it doesnt bother the on coming traffic.. Its a mandate by ARAI...

But *** guy said since the cars all come with halogens - and since these bulbs have the tips backed out a seperate sticker is no more required..

Secondly the Toyota dealer guys tell me the headlamp leveler rule has been repealed - that cars will stop coming with it once the factory runs out of their inventory of levelers!

Will I b fined if I put a black sticker on the head lamb outer glass and change the look of it? Is that against the law?Well, im planing to, so just confirming if I should goahead or not..!

these chandigarh cops are fools....i was driving to delhi via CHD and told me to cough up 1000 for using tinted glasses, as against a federal fine of 100. but dilliwallas zindabad....i offered him 100 rs as bribe, he was so ashamed that he let me off.

Will the headlamp stickers reduce the amount of light that falls on the road?

where can we get the best 'headlamp stickers' for baleno in bangalore...

the ones the dealer gives is ugly and doesn't fit properly my baleno.

sorry to bump an old thread but my dealer didnt provide those stickers for headlamps and was wondering whether to get some from a sticker shop. can any one from chennai tell me whether the cops pull cars over for headlight stickers or not
