Should I say, +100 to this. I left my car, was with Sidhu and few other BHPians for around 6 hours, occassionally seeing the car and when the work was done, all i did was smile at the work done, it was that cool.

There is a HUGE difference with HSR and the other outlets. 35+ pages on this portal do tell a story.

I went on a trip to Coorg from Bangalore and while returning returned via the Bangalore-Mangalore Highway the road was really bad. My 2 weeks old figo's body was covered with slush and it badly needed a full body wash. I saw the 3M showroom in indiranager and decided to go for the same.

I met their executive Mr Nikhil & understood the packages available.

Then I decided to go for a foam wash (Rs 390/- + Taxes).

I went on a weekday at around 11.30 am to give the car for a wash.
The executive checked for the exisiting scratches in the car but was unable to find any as the car was very dirty indeed. I asked him if the wash would cover under body, he said even though they do not have a lift to lift the car in the washing area, they will get the under body cleaned.

I received a job card and was asked if I would like to wait in the lounge or like to see the car getting cleaned. I decided to watch the car getting cleaned.

The guys removed the floor mats & did a vacuum cleaning of the interiors and the dash board.
They cleaned the mats separately by blow air mechanism.

Then they took the car into the bay and first cleaned the body with blow air. This was followed by a through pressure water cleaning of the full car including the under body. the the car was sprayed with foam and scrubbed with a micro fiber cloth by two guys. This was followed by a air drying and then finally the entire car was wiped with a microfiber cloth.

I got the delivery within 1 hour. Finally when i saw the car sparkling clean, I was happy.

I have decided to go for an underbody protection & a paint protection plan on my next visit.

Does anyone know if the 3M INagar service has improved?

Well I landed up at this place today. The Fabia fabric seats were pretty dirty with round marks in many places - so wanted an interior cleaning done. The person who took the car was only interested in selling other services rather than what I had asked for. I was told except for oil marks, everything else would be gone. At the end of the job, I felt, an expert should have reviewed the car and set the expectations right.

Left the car at 12:00 and I was told it would be ready in 2 hours. The plan was to take a DD in ICICI and headback to 3M, unfortunately ICICI privilege banking took one hour to generate my DD!! Felt like I should have walked into any state bank and the job would have been done way faster. By then it was neither there nor here for lunch - tried calling the only landline number in the job card. There was no mobile number. No Answer. At this point, I didn't have any hope that the car would be done by 2:00, so headed back home. I had a slight hope that they would call me - but looks like that was my mistake. Eventually went back at 4:00 and the car was parked outside with the windows slightly opened. Most of the circular dirt rings were gone! But I could still see several leftover dark patches (against the beige) clearly. The sales person again called the service guy to come back and do the work on couple of spots! Was just not ok with the service provided at this point. Obviously they don't have anyone to oversee or check the job done. It was very obvious. Still many places weren't looking clean enough. The seats were wet and I was told it would be brighter once it dries - not clear why they didn't use a hot blower to dry it up.

End of it, I wasn't happy with the job done and felt let down by 3M. May be really my car needs intensive cleaning, but their sales/ service technician never gave a hint of that. The brush they had seem a bit harder than required. I think the foam cylinders are expensive and they are doing all possible to cut down on the quantity used. Waiting with slight hope that once dried, things would look better. Else a HSR 3M visit is possibly pending. I would say Indira Nagar did only 70% or less of the job. This service costed 2742/-.
