V-Kool in Pune - Team-BHP

Hi Guys,
need help finding a good & reliable shop or dealer where i could get vkool fitted on my honda city. planning to have the clear 1 on the front (94% i think its vk-70) & sides/rear 71%. also pls let me know the approx price.

You can get it done from dealer on Pune-Satara road near Bhapkar pump. Adya33 knows exact location. Front windshield vk-70 costs 6300/-. Not sure about tints all around.

Hi,

I fell it is worth getting it fitted at the dealership (Bafna Motors - Satara Road) .
Since you are going in for vkool which is very expensive reliability is of paramount importance.

Btw I have fitted Llumar PP60 on my Indica windshield and extremly satisfied with its
performance.

If you are not lean on budget, then go ahead and put V-KOOL everywhere. I am not particularly impressed with the heat cut off of V-KOOL, but my expectation might be too high. I still need to use A/C to good extent. I suggest go for better quality Garwares/Llumar on sides and front windshield can be Llumar.

I think going by the specs, V-Kool 70 is more effective than the Llumar AIR 75.

AIR75SRHPR (clear)
Visible Light Transmittance - 73 %
Total Solar Energy Rejected - 39 %
Source

V-Kool 70
Visible Light Transmittance - 73.2 %
Total Solar Energy Rejected - 55 %
(Infrared Rejection - 94%)

Also, V-Kool is now offering a 3 year Warranty (or is it 5?) if fitted from an Authorized dealer.

guys,
i got the vkool film from cool car decor.
took the vk70 clear from the front & the select range for side (slight black tint) 92% infrared protection.
its been a good experience for a day. will post my opinion after i drive on the express way.

I had actually suggested that you contact the accessories manager at Honda showroom
and ask him/het to arrange for the vkool guy to come and fit it.
