there is a guy on MG road from whom my brother got his car keys duplicated. The result was good. he claims to make even tough to copy keys like BMW & Mercs. Donno how true but thats what he claimed.

Donno the exact place but Its on left when you enter from Westend side.

yes i can confirm that.
he actually makes "replicas" ,
the key grooves are duplicated exactly . its an old looking shop which also sells general stuff , i forget the name ,(arrrghhh !!!! its at the edge of my memory!!!!) but yes its on your left as you walk/drive/ride down mg road , i'll get back to you with the name by evening though if you really need it
last time i checked one key cost a hundred bucks but that was a year ago so he might have hiked his prices ..........

The price is still about the same .. It varies according to the brand of the car...
The name of the place is FAZAL's... its ahead of Wonderland in the centre of MG road on the left hand side..

coz i dont like deccan honda. reason is not just what they charge but they never do the job prefect. i think if someone is charging a premium he should do the job prefect. i like to avoid deccan honda as much as possible.

Fazals does the best job, but charges you almost the same as an original honda duplicate, you can also get your key made from this guy opp St.Vincent's street in camp (near Hindustan bookstall).. he's cheaper than fazals and does a great job.. charges approx 150 for a honda city..

one thing to keep in mind while duplicating keys.. give the duplicator the key which has been used the least.. preferably the duplicate which has (in most cases) barely been used..

cheers!
Shrivz...
