Default PICS: Nissan Sunny Lounge Package by DC

Just came across this on Facebook. Let the pictures do the talking. What contrasting themes inside-out!

Im afraid this time DC has got the interiors wrong (which was the only USP left in DC Design lately)

The color schemes of red, black, wood trims & chrome bits look too forced.

Whats with such an high positioning of what seems to be "cup holders" on the front arm rest ? Almost close to the drivers face, imagine hitting a pothole & the hot coffe spilling on the drivers face

Note: Rims from Renault Scala

Did I rub my eyes real hard or is it really this red
I would feel like I am being driven around in a watermelon if I were inside this Lounge.

Dear DC, please insert your fingers in a DC plug-point and have your eyes opened

Probably, DC will provide designer straws for the drivers so that they can sip on their favorite drink on the go.

Those giant cup holders seem to be shared with the DC's Duster concept. But clearly seem way too stupid for everybody

At least DC makes good use of the spacious backseat. But I don't think it really requires the red color scheme. Change it to a classy black, take down that monstrosity of a cup holder and you would really have a great car. Would be the best chauffeured car at its price.

HaHaHa this was super funny.

Yeah, the red is just TOO much. It is simply overdone, the cup holders IMO are an added feature for safety.

The driver will always be wary of hot liquid falling on his face and hence drive slow.

The wood inserts don't contrast at all and are looking totally out of place.

What are they charging for this Red Lounge.

Cheers,

I guess with such high positioning of cup holders , the driver can rest his head on the cup holders and take a quick nap :-D
Beige/Black color theme on dash could have worked well.

I get a feeling that the driver will be distracted by the gaudy colors. Secondly, whoever gets the car moded at DC will want to travel luxuriously. Looking at leg room at the back, it is anything but luxurious.

Its not a cupholder. Its a spittoon for the pan chewing driver so that he does not have to lower the windows each time. So thoughtful I might add.

But make sure your driver has properly practiced the spittoon trick or you get you know what on the fat cats propped up legs. And that would mean even more red in the cars interior !!

Even i agree that the color scheme for the interiors is too garish and does not look good.

But wouldn't this be as per the customer specifications. No point in blaming DC design for it. No?

By the way how much would this interior treatment cost??

I think it is the stock armrest with the "fan" that has just been wood finished, moved up and "spitoon" added. I would have expected the TV to be on the left so that the "fat cat" can push the front seat forward and still have space. Less said of the color the better.

Perhaps thats why there's so much red. If the driver misses the spittoon, the liberal use of red upholstery's good for masking paan stains.

Jokes aside, those pictures made me want to gouge my eyes out. Every time I see something grossly pimped out (on the outside or the inside) I remember VW's 'Unpimp my Ride' campaign from years ago. Give me something clean and understated every time.

Oh my God, what color!!! But I must say, the interior is done very nicely (except for the Cup Holders) ... I liked the dome lighting and the roof enhancements.
