Maruti Dealers Fleecing in Swift Accessories

Hi Buddies
I am going to get my Maruti Swift Vxi (with ABS) this weekend, in Mumbai. I talked to my dealer and I was given the following details about accessories:
1. Anti Rust -- 3375 (2 years warranty)
2. Teflon -- 4050 (1 years warranty)
3. Nippon Security System -- 6145
4. Reverse Sensor -- 6000
5. Gear Lock (Autocop) -- 3000

The rates given above, I believe are plain robbery.

I believe this guy has got a very good deal. Can someone please help me if it is possible for me to get the Central Locking Security System (Nippon), Reverse Sensor, Gear Lock at a cheaper price, some place in mumbai.

which part of mumbai do you live in?

South - Central Mumbai, you can try any of the shops in Opera house,
Bandra - Santacruz side I believe Milan Subway is a good place to go.
Both these places have several shops so you can find the best deal.

Basically a dealer will pretty much always charge a fair bit more than an independent shop.

I stay in Hiranandani.. Any good shops round here??

I'm not really familiar with that area, but look around and ask in a few shops to get an idea of what the right prices should be..

Your best bet is to go to Milan Subway. Alternatively there are also some shops around Mulund but not as many as Milan subway.

I think the guy at the dealer just took you at a ride. The prices are simply robbery. The price at the earlier post is exactly correct, even here at Kolkata.

well Seat Cover 1000 that is cheap.what kind of seat cover,you get for Rs.1000
My advice never get sterio done from car dealer.Get it done from from else where
