Nice! But aren't leather seats MUCH more expensive usually? Thought they usually start at around 25k+...

Those are pure leather and mine is semi.
This was more than enough for our requirements.

What is a semi leather? As per my understanding either the leather is genuine (actual animal skin) or its synthetic (art, pu, rexine etc..)

Great Looking. I want to get a Plum color for my Black GT. Was the original fabric removed to put this on ? Also, is there air circulation to avoid sweaty patches on the back and discomfort on the base seat ?

As regards to the gloss finish on the roof, I'm sure you've done your research on the sheet used however a black paint would look authentic.

Also, how are the discs holding up and can you share some observations

No, I guess and more over there is no discomfort in the back seat according to my moms review.

Initially it was as good as stock, but after some 500 kms of running in its improved. Now i can drive with confidence than before at triple digit speeds.
Only fly in the ointment is when brakes are applied i hear a squeal sound for a second and it vanishes. I have informed yolo guys as well but they say its normal.

Note: braking review is based on Brembo Disk + Brembo Pads + Advan neova tires as a whole and not just disk.

Great mod. Thanks for sharing. After carrying out a similar upgrade on by Swift, I did shop around for rotors for my GT but most of them were out of budget. This seems reasonably priced.

Filter, remap, brakes - incidently you are helping me out as these are the exact same mods that I have in mind. Already done with the filter. Will be going in for a chip instead of a remap. But you are doing the hard work validating these for me so I am indebted to you on that count.

Drive on,
Shibu.

Hey brraj,

How's the beast doing? Been a while since you gave us updates. Any issues till date with the re-map?

I am actually considering the Polo GT TDi to upgrade from my existing car. With the re-map it definitely seems to be the best bet minus the manual gear box which in stop-go traffic does become a nuisance.

Anyhow, please update us with your experience so far, any issues, niggles and the joy of driving this beast.

Thanks!

Beast is doing great and no issues with the re-map so far. It is just that i was a bit busy with offroading.
Giving surprises for 2ltr diesels is fun.

Fed up of these intruders.

Hi brraj, is the relay still connected with 100/90W bulbs?
If so, have you noticed any issues with the headlight switch or any other issues post relay connection in general?

I have also had the same setup for the same car and with in a month of usage, I noticed the issue. Thanks

I had got it installed at the same place as yours. It was working all well for the first month but since then the headlight switch is malfunctioning.

Took it to the service station and explained the problem to service advisor then he straight away asked if I had connected any relay.

After removing the relay, the headlight switch started working normally.

Anyways it is good that you don't have this problem in your car.
