Hey man! That's great news.
Congrats Rocam!

That Zen looks wild too.

And there was a great article about heavily modified (Interiors,Exteriors and engine) Citys couple a months ago in CAR magazine and those were stunning too.

It is quite fast. A quarter mile in 15 secs that means it should be hitting a ton in around 8.5secs!!

To be honest i am very disappointed with T.G.; firstly they havent photoshopped the number plate which they promised that they will do it before it goes for print, secondly the main reason for my dissapointment is that they have unnecessary hyped the specs & price of mods. there are so many things mentioned which is not there in my car, all these things has taken away the charm & simplicity of my car, its not that i wont be modifing my car in future but to put specs which is not there is bugging me.

As far as turbo charged Fiat is concerned i havent driven the car hence cant comment on the performance, but the effort they have done by putting a contessa engine in fiat & turbocharge a carboratted engine is really commendable the only thing i heard from the owner is that the handling isnt great, it runs at 8psi as of now without intercooler. but for 1/4 mile 15sec time cant comment cause it never ran on track & theres lot of difference in guessing & seeing actual timing.

Would request Mods to delete/lock the thread, me & my car does not require unwanted publicity.

I second that Jitu, They have mentioned about my car that in the future I would be putting high compression pistons and a turbo charger??? Guess that is just misguiding as it would end up blowing up the engine. The cost details for my zen are also wrong and have just hyped and written stuff which is unwanted.

also they have taken away the essense of the installation. they have made it sound very simple and the amount of effort that went in making it is taken away!

Hey Ford_Rocam,

How about you clear this up by starting a new thread on your car and the mods you have done, the real costs (if you wish), the real experiences, the simplicity and charm, and the possible future mods. Plus you can photoshop the numberplate
What better than hearing it from the man himself?
(and then people wont have to go and buy TG!)

And Zklasse, same applies to you! Enough of keeping a low profile... lets hear about your car !

Hey,

I think both you guys should write a stinking letter to Top Gear asking for damages & apology for printing false info on the car(specs, pricing, etc), for not blanking out the number plates and giving unwanted attention without the owners permission in writing.

It can get both you guys into trouble from God knows whereall. The RTO, Cops, Income Tax etc etc.

Make sure that you insist on getting them to publish the apology in the coming issue.
