The hella blades in my lancer are 2years old and still clean like new no streaks no juddering no nothing.
And two blades costed 300rs from shetty motors.
I too had a bad experience with Bosch. They started to chatter after a short while. I remember last year monsoon drive to Mumbai to Bangalore the wipers were on almost continuously and the chatter and noise was awful.

Got hella dynaedge yesterday. for 1180/- yet to use them and will comment after that. They claim to be aerodynamically shaped to reduce noise and lift

Default Review of Hella Dynaedge

A quick review of the hella dynaedge wipers.
The wipers actually swivel at the hinge which causes the squeegee action to be pronounced. Also they have a small aerodynamic fairing on the front.

Testing conditions: light to very heavy rains. Speed upto 60 kmph.

Verdict: excellent cleaning of the windshield at all speeds, no chatter at all. Absolutely silent.

highly recommended if you don't mind paying a bit more for them

I have been using the regular Hella blades for a couple of years now and they have lasted well. V satisfied and would definitely recommend them over the basic Bosch blades

Default Beam blade wipers

Friends, could someone advise if beam blade wipers are definitely better than the normal ones? If yes, kindly recommend a brand and model which I can pick up for my SX4. Do the wiper arms also need to be changed when the blades are changed to beam ones? What about the wiper motor? Does this need to be changed as well? Does changing these invalidate the manufacturer\'s warranty? What would be the cost of getting these on a SX4?Where can I get these blades fitted at Bangalore? What is the typical life of these blades (assuming the normal ones need to be replaced once a year)? Thanks, Satya.

Hi,

Am due for my ANHC's 30k service. The OEM wiper blades have run out, and they now make a grinding sound sometimes. OEM blades according to service folks will cost about INR 1000. Are the OEMs recommended or a shift to Bosch is a better idea?

Also, how much would be the price of an equivalent/better Bosh set and where are they available in Gurgaon?

Thanks

Satya, I worked briefly as a Product Manager at MICO BOSCH and they had some great wiper blades. Though I didn't handle the wiper blade portfolio but I did see a presentation on the technology on offer. Your local BOSCH dealer should easily be able to answer your queries.

The website resource is http://www.boschcleartheway.com/.

Bosch blades are good but buy from a reputed dealer so that stocks would always be fresh. Badly stored blades with a shelf life through thick summer is likely to cause noise while wiping. Better to change before onset of monsoons but would work neatly for couple of years if vehicle is not parked under the sun regularly. Also not necessary to change arms unless damaged.

Really confused which one to go Bosch Aerotwin or Hella DynaEdge?

I wanted to replace wiper blades on my Vento 24" & 16". Please advise.

Anyone aware of shop in Mumbai where I can purchase these, since in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, nobody stocks them.

At one of the shop there were wiper blades same type as Aerotwin by a company name DSC for Rs. 450 a pair for Vento. Any pointers.

Hey I've been using the hella wipers on our car over that last year. Its been excellent till now. Had a problem with the drivers side wiper so had to replace it.

That apart, the passengers side wiper is over a year old but swipes like new. This after the car is parked in the open for 6 to 7 hrs a day.

Very good vfm ! Try it out

I found it in reliance auto too,u can check there.

Bosch calls them Aerotwin wiper blades. They are wonderful.

Bosch - Aerotwin Wiper Blades

Even Hella has come up with a similar product, however, i haven't used those.
