Got it in Konark in Jayanagar east end road. All 3 costed Rs. 445/-. Honestly I did not measure the stock wiper, the guy told me a 12" will fit and I asked him to change it. All this when it was pouring heavily last week :-(

Hella has come out with the Dyna edge wiper blades in various sized. The sizes that I have seen till date at the Reliance Auto zone double road branch are
  1. 11 inch
  2. 14 inch
  3. 20 inch
  4. 22 inch
  5. 24 inch
  6. 26 inch
These should suffice quite a few cars. Just measure the blade length and pick the one that suits you.

Cost from 500 to 800 varying as per the size.

But do check whether the adapter would fit your car. It doesn't fit the new-gen Fiats at least.

True, the adapter for Linea and Punto is different. But both these cars come with nice wipers and the need to replace it with after market does not arise.

The Hella Dyna edge blade if bought for punto and linea will cost more than oem ones by around 200-300 bucks and the OEM ones cost around 1000 bucks, so 200 savings when replacing it. Atleast FIAT has not cut cost by giving ordinary wipers.

Changed front wipers to Bosch ClearAdvantage in the front for my S10. A pair of 24 and 16inches cost me 870 at Konark, Bangalore.

They're very good when the windscreen is totally covered with water. However they seem to stutter when there are light rains. Perhaps my windscreen needs the toothpaste treatment!

Used the old 16inch blade to DIY fit it on the rear wiper arm as well. All prepared for this round of rains!

Thought of changing the wipers for my 2 and 1/2 old Figo. Want to go for Aero Twins 22" and 16" blades.

Do anyone know where is it available in Chennai?

RGK ; I have used Bosch normal ones & they aren't a patch on Ford OE ones. In case you don't come across Aero Twins, stick with OE.

The OE ones cost approximately ~Rs. 850 (pair) & from what I have heard Aero Twins cost around Rs. 1,800 for a pair.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Let me know if you guys need any Bosch Products for Automobiles. I know of a distributor near J. C road in Bangalore, so can have it arranged for you guys by speaking to him and since he is a distributor, the costs maybe lesser as well :-)

Cheers!

I purchased a new set of MGP blades from Pratham Motors, Bellandur for my Ritz in October. The wipers were not used after that. Recently I started the wipers when cleaning my car; I saw that the wipers are making the windshield hazy and there is a vibration while they are running on the glass. The windshield becomes so hazy after a wiper run, that I am not able to see though it. I find it hard to believe the wipers become ineffective in 3 months even without using them a single time. Is there anything wrong with my wiper motor assembly? Or should I go and replace the wipers again? :(

How much did the 22/16 aero twins cost you? Is 900 a good price for the pair? Also how does the performance compare with the regular Bosch wiper blades?
