@~honda~ : cat-back exhausts (atleast the ones we have avaiable here) don't make any sort of difference in performance, atleast no gains for sure.

cousin had something very similar to the exhaust shown in the pic except for the carbom fiber finish. where did you lift this pic from?

here's the image for you if it helps u sort out the matter...

On a complete free flow system you will notice a slight increase in torque in lower rpm range when you insert that small object in the muffler, the exhaust sound does gets trimmed by 50% & yes top end will suffer a bit but not too much. Exhaust Roar will change & you may not like that sound.I have tried both the combination but results can vary from car to car & engine.

@ manson: few days back while i was surfing on the net i found this site which deals in all kinds of performance products...

i dont remember the name of the site, i had stored this image on my desktop...

@FordRocam: if this silencer is configured properly or custom-made by the guy who installs the free flow onto our rides dont u think it can also sound nice and can also save a lot of money which we donate to crucked cops around...

Whats your priority mate????

A good looking car OR a better looking performer????

Mufffler tips are an ornament more than anything else......performance wise the do Jack#$%%.........

I have a 5" Kakimoto exhaust (3.5" all the way) just rusting at home..and i cant be bothered using it.....wanna buy it?

The whole point is making you car look unique...... to drift away from the monotonous garbage that everyone has......

Use your imagination or designs...as oppesed to asking people what would look good on YOUR pride and joy!!!!!

pros: no cop hassle
cons: decent exhaust note and mild increase in power when mated with headers.

don't think we need a new thread for this.

you could ask any of these accessories shop guys who stock cat-back exhausts, good chance that the'll have one, or atleast source one for you.
