hey,
i was looking for lights myself.
just some clarifications and queries from my end.
these tail lights are known as ** lexus tail lights **.
i went through the gc website, the tail lights are different to the original picture posted the first one at the top of the thread.
i am pretty sure thats from a uk swift sporting the lexus lights.
secondly the prices mentioned ~RM 599, the conversion rate is not 1:6
its more like RM 1 = INR 12.58
is this price for a pair of tail lights?
including leds inside.. ie .. the full assembly.
i have malaysian people coming and going.
so if ure interested gimme a shout, if im sure with the clarifications, will surely be importing a pair myself
:P

Hey abhi,
You are right that light is diff, and the reason is there are two tail lights avialble with GC
a) with LED
b) W/O LED (Crystal Type)
am more intrested in LED ones they are for 699.
Now about importing I had their email where they stated that you got to pick up 10 pcs min.
at the same time if you have people traveling to malaysia, I think one can easily get this price if taken face to face and if they carry along, we can also save taxes and duties.
If thats the case where we save money pls come fwd and continue.
Cheers

12k is a total rip-off for a set of tail-lights!
U guys also try packaging the bmw-type(cat-eyes) headlights for the swift from Bankok. Its cheaper over there.

Sorry if I sound ignorant . . . .
But why r u calling them 'LED' lights ?!
They look like conventional filament bulbs within a different casing and clear cover.
Can't see any cluster of LEDs !!

If I had 12k spare, I'd rather put alloys - my personal opinion

These lights look pretty cool...wonder how it'd look on a metallic beam blue swift? I loved the black but maintenance is a killer! Again, are these like 5000 a piece or for a pair?

It will be nice to be different amongst the swifters with these tail lights. But 12K is really a big sum to be bothered about. So... I will remain with stock tail lights for some more time.
