well, This person seems like he is having lotsa margin for himself apart from the regular margin from the automech guys. :-)
well, tomorrow I am going to check out another place where he does a good headers for the car and see how it goes. He usually does the racing type I would rather go in for a mid-range
where did you fit the headers from satya?

i got mine iin 2001f from automech ,mumbai .....
in mumbai u will get it cheaper as you get it done at the Automech workshop ,outside mumbai its the dealers to whom the headers are shipped on requirement ....so obviously it will be costlier in other cities ...

Hey satya,
I got my car fixed with the headers and I have a question here.
apart from the sweet roaring sound what else do we get in performance side? Can we increase the initial power of the car? which one do u have?
mine is mid-range

What????? Please tell me you didn't get the headers installed purely for acoustic reasons!!!!!
If you maybe change your point of focus from "the sweet roaring sound" to the acceleration and responsiveness of your new found setup, you might be introduced to the "performance side" of the advantage!!!!

Yes, ofcourse there is a good amout of response to my gas pumping but it seems like I cannot pump more gas in my initial stage as compared to the stock. I expected more power (atleast 5-10 more km in my first 2 initial stages) u know what I am saying? may be I will clean my carbuerator and do some tuning and then check out the power?
(btw: car has 99k kms on it and its 1998 carb and the header is custom made.)

The power delivery depends wholly on what power band the headers were tuned to perform in, Looks like your set is tuned for top-end at the cost of the low-end grunt!!!!
Is there any difference in the top-end???
Automech or custom??
