Automech are one of the most experienced and trusted names when it comes to exhaust. I have had first hand experience and they are one of the best exhausts available here in Mumbai. I have had it fitted on both my cars and have 5 other friends who have fitted on their cars and are more than happy with it. It is noise as well as performance.
Cat gets removed since it is a restriction. In reality even a muffler if not designed properly is a restriction to the exhaust gases but serves the purpose of dampening the noise but automech are well versed how to balance the two and give optimum performance. go ahead with automech. They are trustworthy.

anybody installed one of these on their palio 1.6 ? If yes, how much did it cost coz their dealer in delhi says about 20-22K .. dont u guys think thats a bit 2 much for it ..

!! And is that the cost right from the manifold onwards or just the rear muffler ? Also is it wise to remove the cat con coz that will definitely go if I modify it from the manifold onwards ... SUGGEST PLS !!

around delhi ,u can also go to performance auto in Noida,sector ,opposite woodland showroom.
here also u can get a free flow and a filter also.when i delhi i had been there ,and a filter costs around 5.5k here.
maybe the max he cud charge for a free flo is around 9k.

Ud b surprised 2 hear that they cahrge about 14K .. i enquired with them 2 !! Anyways ive been in tuch with dominic thru this site and he's pretty helpful, mayb i get one from him and then get it installed here ..
will keep guys updated ...

Thnx killjoy ..nice of u to offer help. Anyways I spoke to the automech guy in mumbai and he spoke to the dealer here in delhi and he arranged for it 2 b given to me at 11.5 !! I guess thats fine as automech is guaranteeing the product .. i was worried that the delhi delaer mite just give me one of his products as earlier he was quoting 18K for the same..... MIND BLOWING MARGIN ---- !!!

Has anyone gotten a automech exhaust done on their palio 1.6 ? If yes, wat sound did you get .. I ordered for the medium grunt .. hope its what i want.

Getting it installed on monday ... !!

cool dude,
the sound will mean a rest for ur AC and music system.
as i am sure u will keep ur windows rolled down.only to hear ur exhaust.
the roar above 3000rpm in my car,a zen is superrrrrrrrrrr,as if the car is angry

Hey Khaadu,

Congrats on your Free flowing exhaust. Beside upgraded rubber, thats the one modification I am dying to have in my Vtec

!! The delhi dealer has said thursday now, so I guess friday morning is the earliest I can make u hear the growl ( if all goes well ) .

I did ask the performance guy for the K&N air filter and he said about 7K !! Still not decided where I'm buying that from yet, will keep u updated as and when I finalise it.
