Stretched Amby: (bad) Pics - Team-BHP

Hello folks,

There was this news article about a stretched amby in Malayala Manorama. My mom saw it today and showed it to me. Thought I'd share the news.

Apparently a planter from Pala (in Kerala) got an Amby stretched by a workshop in Pune. Spent 17 Lakhs (!) total on the job. Runs the Isuzu engine. NHC taillamps. Scorpio (!!!) headlamps. Lincoln Continental Grille & Emblem (Mock-up, I guess). Some kind of waterproof leather cladding on the roof and BCD pillars.

I have a pic taken with my N70 off the newspaper. Sorry for the (unbelievably) bad quality of pics. Apparently the car is in Kochi now. Will snap it if I see it on the roads.

Looks like a good job , but would have loved it if they had the same front and rear end as the stock car, or maybe a Mark-ii or mark-i job.

parikh coach builders used to build an ambylimo........... i think they shouldv left the original ambassador shape the same nd just stretched it.

Would've been nice if it was fully white. Why is the roof multicolored!!
