Modified Palio 1.6 GTX

yesterday when i was near sterling theatre in mumbai i saw this beautiful palio S10.
the car looked awesome
i spoke to the cars owner - darshad parikh - who said he had self modified the car and had done some other modifications for other guys with other cars.
any way i liked the car so much i thought that i should post the cars pics which are pretty good for pics taken from my cell but unfortunately my FREIND deleted the nice sexy ones i had taken so all i got left was this not as good pics but anyway
here goes







some of the mods he had put on the car were -
iridium spark plugs with wires
k n n filter and head
195/65 r 15 tyres on sexy alloys
automech exaughst

and some beautiful side skirts and a front fender which looked awesome with its dark crease.

i just got to have a breif 2 min chat with him when i bumped into him.
i took the pics when his driver was in the car and he was chillin at barista
the driver says that there was an increase in power and the handling sharpned but will have to ask him by how much it had increased.

well he actually hasnt checked the increas in the power but he claims it has improved.
but i still cant get over the beautiful crease in the front fender.

I saw this car just yesterday evening at kemps corner while on the way to my grandparents place...ie your building!
Do tell him abt team-bhp.
I only saw the car in motion so i didnt get to look at the wheels properly, though i noticed they werent stock alloys.

is the car in the picture a sachin tendulkar limited edition?

if it is then the crease in the fender is part of the original design. correct me if i am wrong. also the exhaust is also OE as it comes with something that is completely differeent from the other 1.6 palio's. just adding a k&n filter would have made it a bit more louder and more refined at the higher revs. also, the filter would have given him an increase in performance anywhere between 5 to 10 % of total depending on installment.

so basically the only extra fitting that i see on this car apart from the filter is the mags and tyres which are nothing great. plus a stickering job which you can get done at any local shop. i agree that the car looks nice but i would not agree saying that he has done an excellent job...anybody can do this much.

btw, the palio in the S10 avataar looks cool as it is..no need to add xtra ..

yeah like killjoy says the front bumper and skirts are stock...the exhaust tip looks like automech and he must have the K&N.

and yes a ok-ok decal job...
and yeah gto...ugly alloys i hate them too

my verdict...an ok looking palio...if he wud left it untouched it wud rock!!!!

wohow.. Looks awsome... Any clue how much will stickering costs? I was thinkin of putting such stickers on my zen,but not install all those mods (All show no-go LOL).
Its the new Zen Red Color (Vxi)... what do ya guys say?

unless you planning to put *atleast some good alloys
coz with out any allloys or anything , the car would look reaaly cheap with just the stickers

Even I'm going in for the stickering, also looking for a total body decal with it. Looking for someone who does them here or else will have to get it done from abroad. WIll post pics once I ger everything done ...

Just called and chatted with the owner of this palio. Real helpful guy .. u guys in bombay shud take help from him. He told me he was really surprised to hear that his car pics were online .. He'll very soon b a member ... SO ANOTHER ONE JOINS IN ! Btw this is his second palio, sold the first and upgraded to a hyundai but within 5-6 months sold that and came right back to a palio...
