well basically the bulbs sizes are the same as normal bulbs sizes. your car would probably have h4. most hids are 35w though you can get 55w. the colour temp is eg 4300k - the most light will be visible from it. as you go on eg 6000k, 8000k, 12000k the visible light becomes less and the colour is more towards blue/purple. so you should ge 4300k for a whitish/yellow light or 6000k for white light/ slight bluish tinge.

Hi Gaurav,

Purchased them on Ebay for $25 (INR 1000 approx) including shipping. Reached me in 07 days. Totally worth it. Planning to purchase the H4 ones too.

Well the Narvas are pretty good too. Cost me INR 650/- for a set of 100/90 4500K (as it says on the box) white bulbs. Apparently i was told that a relay is not required either.

Shoot the guy who told you that relay is not required. Relay is required when you upgrading from 60/55 to 100/90, else the bulb upgrade may fry your electricals

Actually relay needed or not depends on the car. Some of the cars come OE equipped with a 90/100w relay.

Hey. I was looking for angel eyes for my baleno but can't seem to find them over here in chandigarh. I don't want to get them imported from singapore. So kindly suggest if you have anything in mind. And are there any projector tail lamps and head lamps available for a baleno???

Would be getting it done at Suraksha, BLR

Default Yes..Relay Needed

You sure need a Relay for a 90-100 Job... most of the cars in India DO NOT come with 90-100 capable output..simple...its not legal as per the motor rules.... so all come with the std 55-60... and one more point...when changing to a 90-100 job dont just worry about the wiring and relay.. change the holder from a 55-60 capacity to a 90-100 one... the mech;s will not do it until u ask it...

how did i know...came home once with parking lights on ... thats how... fried the holders completely after 3+ years on a 90100 system + 5560 holders...

Epic,
Dont take chances.. get it rechecked.. it is possible that relay may not be required in your car.. but 90% chances are that relay would be required..

btw.. which car is it!! may be someone owning that car would advice better..

Effectively, I need to change holder, relay, wiring and a bunch of 90/100 for my Swift. Wonder how much it costs ? And Is suraksha reliable to handle this efforts ?
