You really want white lights?
Well first things first here is a little guide
Q. Why are white lights not as bright as normal ones
A. White lights are normal lights coated with blue coating. Therefore part of the light of the bulb is blocked. Hence lower light
Q. If I get a bulb which gives white light without any blue coating, will it be brighter than the coated ones?
A. Yes!

There is just one bulb in the market I have seen till now which gives white light without coating. There may be others, but this one I have seen.
Its called Halonix Xenon Blue and it costs 120rs/bulb
No blue coating but white light.
If you can source it, try it, and if you like it do post your experiences here.
If I had time, I would get it and try, but no time now for quite some time.
Maybe Iraghava can go to sector 16 noida. Its not available in all shops, but at very few places.
The wattage is 100/90W

Can we go for 130/100w Philips Crystal/Blue vision bulbs (white light) to produce the same amount of intensity of yellow light so that it can be used in city and highways

You do not get bluevision in 130/110W. Atleast I could not find it anywhere.
130/110 is normal light, and it can potentially ruin your reflector due to high heat.
Stick to 100/90W.

Default Philips rallye 90/100W with GE kit..it is available in chennai

phillips rallye 90/100W is available in chennai ( korean or german import) 130 each. The Philips box says not legal in roads?? Shop sell indela kit for this ( 450). He suggested GE Kit which is also 450/-
The shop owner has CERAMIC HOLDER ( about 60 rs?) but he himself says not needed for SANTRO LE..What is your take on this" buy" with this GE KIT w/o ceramic holders . Opinion appreciated. another shop owner says LUCAS kit has some issues & he says GE bulbs are good (2 nos 290/-). he also says no need for ceramic holder .

Take the ceramic holders, they won't do any harm. If your plastic holders somehow melt, your entire headlight enclosure may go kaput, why take a chance for 60rs!?

Well I took the plunge and picked up Philips 130/100 bulbs. Bought ceramic holders with a relay kit too.

I dont know if these are the original bulbs, but then Made in Germany is imprinted on the bulbs. Clearly indicates not for sale in Europe. Then why be manufactured in Germany ?

Will post up the lighting experience by this coming weekend .

I changed my Palio Ds stock bulbs to Osram Silverstar. I changed all four bulbs...used H1 and H7..the H7s are normal, with a little bit improvment in throw..the H1s are amazing...my high beam is now really good and there is marked difference in the lighting. It is not white or blue light...they give out normal color light as in the stock bulb.

So if you want to stick to legal 55/60w bulbs..the Osram silverstars are the best I have seen. Got it from VV electricals in Ernakulam. Cost me 590/- for all four, fitting included.

Guys, Saw an ad in Autocar for Philips Xenon HID, Called up the concerned person and got to know that it is an imported HID kit from Germany, H4, Hi, low, 6000k with B&W. He told me that landed cost per unit at dealers is around 20k, and they may sell it at any cost which will include installation too. It is available in Delhi with Pandit & Co.

anyone has any idea about the product code?

20K wow!
Similar kits from big companies sell for 200-220$ in the US + 50$ installation which is waved off by many dealers.
