I just enquired with Osram India, Silverstar is not available in 100/90 There is a new bulb which is superior to the Siverstar called Night Hawk(IIRC) which is also available in 60/55 only. I am using Hella currently, which 100/90 bulbs can i go for, which are more powerful then the currect 100/90 Hella's. Is Vision Plus available in 100/90?

How good is Halonix +60, is it available in 100/90?

Thanks, how do they compare to Osram Normal?

Has anyone used 100watts in Swift fogs, can it be used.

Swift fog is made of plastic or glass?

Its called Osram Nightbreaker. Supposed to be 90%+ better. But Philips Xtreme Power : 80%+ is better. Here is a linky on a comparison between both.
Honda-Tech.com: Lighting: Interesting Read: Osram Nightbreaker vs Phillips Xtreme Power and Light Output

Vision plus is stopped being sold in India. It was only available on stock wattage: 60/55.

Plastic I reckon.

IIRC someone was running Narva's in the fogs.

Busa,

As you seems very keen of installing 90/100 tubes, i would suggest you skip the 90/100 league and look out for a better 55/60 wattage bulb which i presume is the default wattage of the fogs/headlights which you are looking at for replacement.

As a matter of fact the relay are not going to add any wattage in your basic wiring but will only protect you wiring from the danger of getting heated up. However, for using any 90/100 you will have to get your relay and holders altered so as they not get melted by the heat produced by the tubes which further leads in cutting and modification of OEM wiring. Apart from getting melted there is another sure-shot danger of getting you reflectors faded on a span of time after using the 90/100. I may be sounding anti-90/100 at this moment, but yes this is the plain truth installing behind 90/100 league tubes.

You may bet on 55/60 +50%/+80% range from philips and osram. Otherwise, if you are serious about lighting try Xenon/HID. They are costlier but worthier.

Cheers

Stock fog wattage is normally 60/55w. I think the Swift uses H11s in the fogs same as my honda city. I tried 80w replacements and within a week the socket had melted. Normally the LH socket will be the first to melt because of the longer wire length. Once the socket melted, the bulb kept popping out and I realised that it won't be too long before the bulb blows. So I got new wiring installed and went back to the 55w OEM bulbs. So much for experimentation!
Now I am looking for the Osram Nightbreakers. H11s are very difficult to find though. Do you know any place where these are available?

The left bulb of indica is easily accessible.
You can remove it yourself after removing the holder and the restraining pin.
Watch someone do it(mechanic etc.,)
As for the right one, only if you have small hands. Otherwise the grill nut and the headlight assembly has to be removed.
As for leaning, you need to remove headlight assembly and then use a cloth or car vac to remove the dust.
