I haven't installed a Koni. Dont have any first hand experience with it.

But one thing I can say for sure; Koni is bloody expensive!!!

You can tune your stock suspension to a better setup if you can get in touch with a nice tuner. And it wont cost you half the price of konis.

Get in touch with Viper. He'll put you to the right people.

lol koni shocks on a zen... if u r that rich.. id say try another car.. just port ur engine .. or better do a engine swap in the same money. suspension is just a minor work can be done by ur tuner. save the koni for ur skyline or supra.

I am poor at suspension tech. Speedzak, how can we tune the suspension? Would it be possible to tune it to take bad roads with ease and still maintain the comfort levels. Will this have a negative effect on the tyres or handling?

What are the regular changes we can make in the height settings? The car I am referring to is Alto.

Man! Not us novices but tuners should tune it.

Suspension is tuned to make the car handle better. It has to be stiffened. Then ride quality & comfort will suffer.
An expert will be able to achieve the perfect balance between this. And just putting in Konis are not the solution to this.

Any info on what setting, I need to maintain on the highway with 2 persons on board. The road condition I am going to experience could vary between super smooth to very bad at times. I would have some luggage as well. Would you suggest the stock setting or will changes will make any difference? I am planning a trip from chennai to my native about 850+ kms drive.

My car is going in for 2nd service shortly and wanted to ensure that I make the required changes.

a set of stock front shocks for the zen cost 3000 bucks for a pair.if you get koni's they will cost you 11000 bucks for a pair.saw these prices in autocar(in an ad by methods online).for the difference of 8k you can get a lot of mods.
