Hi BHPians,

I have this scoprio GLX, Pure Black,

and i want to do some changes to it,
i dont mean engine mods or gaudy looking tyres,

i mean accessories which will make the jeep look more appealing as well as accessories which will be handy and helpful for the vehicle and the driver/passengers.

as of now,
i have the fogs, music system,bull bars,
in the interiors theres not much change as of now,

so i want suggestions on the interior changes and what is available in Delhi if possible, but atleast avaiable in india.

I am putting up some suggestions, but im not sure if these would be available in india so help me out there as well,

1)steering wheel
2)gear knob
3)wind deflectors
4)shackle and road for towing
5)tyre pressure checker/inflator
6)chiller(for drinks n all)
7)tyre spacer(optional)
8)drink holder
9)tyre repair kit

Frankly ....

i dont see new wheels in the near future ....

so .. other than wheels/alloys what else do you suggest,

even if i do get wheels ill begetting the all terrain tyres .... again without alloys,

hey there vin,

get those window shades, i've seen them on scorpios they look good in my opinion.
The following accessories u can consider...
1. Leather steering cover.
2. Air freshner (ambi pur)
3. Music system, the standard one isnt all that good...
* *My pioneer mp3 deck along with 2 sony explode speakers
* *cost me arnd 13000bucks.
4. Floor Mats
5. Tinting
6. Autocop
7. Car wax, ur colour is black...in order to keep that shine u have to work hard....ask Rudra....hehe he'l know. *

Thats all i can think of right now. If ur not putting fatter rubber then u dont need the spacers, u can get the tyre repair kits at any car accessory shop. I think i remember seeing an advertisement about drink chillers in some issue of autocar india....check with ur local shops, they can help u out better.

For the chiller, checkout the Fridge/Warmer model from Tropicool .
Telco is offering one of these models in the Limited Edition Safari and is available as an accessory from Tata showrooms.

Hey guys! Has anyone ever thought of putting a winch on the front of their jeeps? I think the utility aspect aside it looks really rugged. The scorpio looks really neat(being patriotic i'd buy one but its not sold in this country!), the idea is to do minimal changes to make it look beefier. You'd do good fitting some chunky tyres(max size without affecting dynamics). Cheers mates

i guess when i come back to india ill be buying of of those,

although i tried emailing them for prices but the mail didnt deliver ,

and as for the winch sudarshan,

it would look good on a scorpio,

but since mine is a pure black colored vehicle, the winch wudnt go along with the looks appeal i guess,

but an intersting proposition nevertheless ....

Hi vin the most important change is alwayz the alloys as they give the luk of lakh rupees. u can put a rear spoiler.. and a power antenna in the left front will luk cool also u can put blind spot mirrors u will get them at 100rs for two they luk cute.

Ok guys .... I've heard almost from everyone that i shud get alloys .... and meaty rubbers on the jeep ....

now do suggest which tyres will be good for highway driving as well as a bit of offroading ... something to last u in rainy/muddy conditions ..

u guys wud know the tyre size for the scorpio ...

vin.. dinally u have got on to the right conclusion.. well u can go for dueler which already cum with the scorpio as they are gud for off road.. anywayz best of luck and happy motoring..
