I'm sorry..You're right..i just checked up with the guy who does my work...its indeed not anodizing which can only be done on an Al part....Like I said, its called zinc passivation, a type of electroplating which you can see commonly on fasteners....Comes in yellow and blue colours (actually the blue looks more like white)...Sorry for the error.
