C Class Options

One of the significant changes is in the petrol engine ; The E-Class will soon have the 3.7 Liter engine from the S350!!!

Yup, Rudra is right about DCs upcoming new Mercs.

And so is GTO on the E350. That too is soon gonna be available.

I've also heard that the SLK350 would be here next year. Is it so Rudra? And are they finally gonna get the whole AMG range here as well? That would be a real icing on the cake.

Its all in response to Audi and BMW's entry into India. Boy, we Indians really are getting the meat... finally.

If the E is getting the S350 engine , whats the S gonna have or are they gonna make S500 as the base S class in India

Dipen, from now on S500 will be a regular offering though S350 is the sale leader. I don't think S500 can be their base model in S-Class group. Market is yet not matured for that kind of sales figure.
Transplanting S engine in E-Class is surly on the card but as I posted before..will know the time line after Wednesday.
Rev, SLK350 should be here next year but to test the market there is SLK200K now. During last trip I've used my colleague's phone camera. Must say, I'm impressed. It's a Nokia.

Wowowow...This is grrr8 new guys...thnx for the info... i think i should wait a while before getting the car but its gonna be hard to convience my dad over this, he is eager to get the car and the only reason he hasnt got it is coz i said i wanna be back in bombay during delivery gonna try and convience him...but see how it goes.
What about the price ... do u think the new Cdi will be more expensive than the 270? The E350 seems reaaly really tempting but i think my dads sold on getting a diesel mercedes this time around. Whr did u guys hear of this news anyways?

Auto dude anyday ...with triptronic and bombay traffic its so much better and its a diesel so u dont need to worry abt fuel consumption dude to the auto. I'd pick auto anyday.

V12, did the red c200 have the number '2111'? Then this guy's son also owns a 350Z, is parked covered on the street, after he bought a new S-Klasse. Somewhere near five gardens.

no ph. this didnt have 2111 regn. these wheels have become quite "common" i guess on Mercs. Seen the same ones last month on the new E last month.

Yeah v12, these shots are taken in Pune factory.
