Long back, almost 10 years ago there was such a M800 Notchback in Cochin which I used to see so often all around but vanished later. I clearly remember that it had Esteem headlamps too.

+1 to that!

I have always wondered why they came up with the idea of Indigos and Swift DeZires!! Could never digest the look of that extended boot which is out of proportion. Now we all know the answer! They get ideas from our very own neighborhood!

I think I have seen this online. Looks like a colt, very much like it.

Can you get some more details on this?

Will try my best to get the information. It didn't seem to have any performance mods. It had. "Cabriolet" written on the side. In large letters.

Why is this car here? Color is a matter of personal choice, and I believe this shade used to come as stock on the Zen Estilo. The paint alone doesn't make it weird or wacky.

Definitely nothing weird about it. It's not even a 'hot' pink, rather a subdued shade of pink. Would I paint my car this shade? No. But then, I wouldn't paint it Matte black either.

The AStar cabriolet was shown in Auto Expo or some similar event for public to gauge the interest.

That A'STAR-CABRO is HAWT man...
It can very well become MINI of middle-class income group. Who needs an international brand at exaggerated price band when our own MS can give us such stuff.

The lights, especially the projectors & the DRL's suit the car very well. If only he hadn't Jaguar-ed it

Anyways, talking about M800s being the favorite car for budget modifiers, here's one that i spotted a couple of days back speeding around my neighborhood. Apologies for the blurry pics, the guy was driving like a maniac.
