Jokes apart, mods like this must destroy the stability of the chassis. Wont there be a lot of flex in the chassis if it gets used in regular driving; let alone the fact that it might not even be street legal anymore.

Yes there will be. One of the main reasons as to why manufacturers add structural enhancements to convertibles. For instance Ferrari has beefed up the underbody of the 458 Spyder and added structural support to avoid the chassis from flexing under hard cornering.

This man seems like a typical "jugaad" type of guy. Doesn't care how it drives or the science behind this. Wants it to look attractive and unique. That's it.
He has also gotten rid of the A and B pillar. Don't know whether to or to

Noticed this in my city a few days back, probably for a marriage ceremony.

A Honda CR-V, modified to look like a stretched limo!

Is this contraption even street legal?

No it isn't legal. Primary reason being that it cannot be insured or registered. There were about 2 or 3 in Jaipur and the operators made a lot of money out of them before law came in and kicked them wanna be limo cars made in Dabawali, Punjab out.

1. An avoidable mixture of parts.

2. Not a modification as such but a bit of heavy accessorising. The owner must be a Mr. Bean fan .

Someone wanted to turn a 5-series into a Chevy Camaro. What a waste of a nice BMW. If I had to punish someone, I would make them drive around in this!

My Eyes!! My Eyes!!! (Chandler walking into the bath with Joey already in it...)
The hideousness apart - in the extra money that is spent on this car to make it to this state, the owner could have easily upgraded to a better car from a segment above. Ok maybe that one wouldn't have been an eye-sour like this one.

I couldn't see what is W&W in this one. Doesn't look all that bad actually. I can survive looking at this car without too much pain to my eyes...

That looks like the work of a consortium of Karol Bagh "Modifiers" under the able guidance of DC.
Is he proud of it?

Hideous. I painfully went through the whole article on rushlane. The interior looks like a riced up zen or esteem. Maybe the guy took his car modification lesson from DC on how to spoil a timeless beauty. Rest in peace the beautiful 5 series.

The only possible reason for committing such atrocity could be that a wannabe noob somehow got hold of a totalled 5 series for cheap and modified it instead of repairing it or bringing it back to its original state as that might have proved costly.
I dont comment much on modification as I believe that one must be able to keep his car the way he likes it, but this is just unacceptable, that too when done to a Beemer, my heart goes out for the poor car, she was born to be a mighty automobile but now has been turned into a joke
I will presume it happened that way as I would be able to go through the day without thinking too much about how unfair life is actually

What else can you expect from the "makeover specialist" with a name "Road Rage Custom Build"

Also from what angle does that stupid contraption look like a camaro.

An out-of-the-box contender for this thread.
Does this qualify to be here?
