Dug up these pics from my ride to Rohru, in Himachal, way back in Aug 2004.
I always take a lil road down to the pabbar river and this lil 200 mtr road passes thru a maruti workshop. this is what we found there!

the workshop guys said work was still left on the car. when i visited rohru next, in dec 2004, the car was gone!

ok so they finally managed to finish the car off by throwing it down the pass that's why it was gone.

The Accent looks superb man..it shouldn't be in thread.good job and looks very decent and a little Nissan skyline works done over it.

the M.800 is a 100% whacky job ever seen in my life and those side mirrors seems it will come out and hit me lolz

OK, I really thought that Accent was a Baleno. My mistake. Blame it on advancing age, failing eyesight & a lack of attention to detail.

It would still make a damn good Baleno front end.

Is it a turd? Is it a game?

Nope! It's supercrapola!

About the only thing correct is the sign in front of that ex-800 saying "Restricted".
Mental facilities, presumably.

Anyway, jokes apart, a stock 800 makes a damn good off-roader. No kidding.
A friend of mine has traipsed all over the hills & fields of Maharashtra in his 1986 model, shod only with Dunlop 2001 tyres on stock wheels. He said that it was the weight & the decent bottom end that ensured he never got stuck, even in squelchy mud or sand.
