Guess I have cracked it. Although none of us were correct, but we were quite close. Its an american version of TE71 corolla. You can't notice the small quarter glass on front door in the pics provided here but I think that is because of the tints/ quality of pic. Otherwise the basic structure is very same. Even a sligh resemblance to our conti's fenders, door.
Although there is still some difference with the rear glass area but that is because the pics I have posted of is a gen-1 euro edition while the car in question seems to be the american version., the pics of whom I could not post as the link was not working but I guess I could make out from the thumbnail.

EDIT- After a second, third fourth look at the thumbnail, I guess I am wrong again. Think I should very well drop it now, the thread is full of our posts about this car. And I'll bang my head into the wall if this car here turns out to be re-bodied conti/800.

And yes the brown one is of the other model (TE72) i was talking about.

Ps. this is a temp mod and the jeep will be re-tuned after the Grand Race!!
looks like a tie-up for MM and Honda like partnership for F1 LOL!

Sorry dude, the height of the TE is much lesser than the modded car, and no one even with half a brain increase the height of the car, people chop the top to reduce, so this was never an option, only thing we can do is find the car and ask the owner.

Where was the spotting? also what is the number plate, eg MH 01/02/03 etc?

hehe, yeah. Atleast am too tired of googling now, I haven't ever done so much 'ogling' my entire life as much as I have been 'googling' these days.

My guess is that, this vehicle is used for Political rallies. Generator used to run speaker systems?

A mini cooper designed for Katy Perry. I think the car is meant to be auctioned for AIDS day or something...

Looks more like a lingerie pattern than a car paint job!
