Me thinks it is the base of a Cycle holder used abroad to carry bicycles around. This is a standard accessory which can be fitted on to any cars. Nothing wierd.

hummmm...

I thought it was rear crash guard.
Dangerous nonetheless. Should be removed when not in use.

That is going to sever the legs of many, if it hasn't already! It should be removed when it isn't being used. Irresponsibility or sheer laziness? Hard to say..

I'd say very hazy picture to start with

Btw, what do u find weird here ? The chrome around the rear lights ?
It is quite okay I feel. Have seen this in so many vehicles. It even looks good on a few - esp on black.

jigbarai, the "additional bumper" (presumably from a Safari) is the one in question. It is definitely making it weird. I'd say the chrome arches make it look bling-bling. Definitely wacky...

SHK, didn't you find anything interesting on its front?

I'd be okay looking at a normal crash guard at the rear of a vechicle, but chrome wheel arches is definately crazy.

In the picture, I presumed it was a mere reflection of light !
