I wonder why people need to do such crimes. Again, really poor taste.

Arkin, sometimes, with these imported cars, spares are a serious issue. I once had a friend who owned an IZUZU whose tailight was broken by a foolish biker. The $$$ of original ones were a fair % of the resale of the whole car itself. As a result he had to put 800 taillights.

In this case, I strongly suspect unavailability of spares was the issue. However, the work is nicely executed.

Another DC Creation, the owner wanted to sell it claiming that the modification is so detailed that no one can recognise its a Sierra..

Well, looking at the overall condition of the car, I don't really think so, but even if I was the case, assuming he needed to replace the taillights, headlights, front bumper and grill, he could've very well used the Eeco's taillights, eeco's / lancer's head lamps, fabricated the grill. the bumper of some boxy car, perhaps the Esteem's, and somehow retained the original looks to some extent.

I kinda like that Ambassador, though its really looking overdone. He could have done without those spoilers and a more subtle graphics would have helped.

Meanwhile, I spotted this today while going to work. There are no wacky mods in it but the Mahindra Marshall is broken from the C-Pillar to create that small open bed. Along with those Sumo taillights, it looked really weird to me.

Sir I was driving but this picture is actually clicked by my friend sitting on passenger seat using my phone. If you see the picture properly, its inside my left rear-view mirror. The CR-V was on the left side behind my car.

I saw the Pink Honda City (it was grey with pink stars back then) a couple of times on the NH byepass on TVM. Quick driver, if slightly inconsiderate. It would have looked much better in the Estilo's metallic pink, IMHO. I say it looked much better in grey with the stars. Does it have the stars in some other shade (say black) now or is it like Paris Hilton's Bentley?

It's amazing that a lot of people think that painting their car a very bright red automatically makes it sporty. Very few cars can pull off the bright red shade without looking like a toy. The key is to break the expanse of red with controlled accents.

BTW, those 'snake' horns are correct for the period. Back then, 'Boa Constrictor' horns were all the rage in after-market accessories. It may be wacky now, but it was 'classy' back then. (Source: Eyewitness Guide to Cars)

That Ikon has been on this thread before. Nevertheless, hideous to say the least. I guess he thinks his car looks real racy.

Here's an Indicab spaceship:

That Indica looks quite decent to me. Fake neons and door handle puddle lights included!

Just yday, I saw similar wheel arches being done on, hold it !?!
Yes you guessed it right... Tata Sierra again.

The job is being done at a garage just outside Mahindra Factory on W.E.Highway. Though I could only see the sides & rear but IMO if the owner keeps the mods upto wheel arches only then the car may look real good.
I just hope & pray that this one is NOT his inspiration.

Take Care.
